  • If it´s the womans choice, it must be legal. Period. Poor confused man.

  • This guy is the biggest imbecile I have seen in American politics since Bush. An impressive achievement!

  • Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

  • I'm glad this cunt dropped out. He's too thick for politcs. He contradicts himself in the same sentence. "I believe in the sanctity of life" vs "I don't think the government should make that decision". If the government doesn't mandate that abortion is illegal then you are directly or indirectly advocating abortion.

  • LOL... Noone could understand you Herb! Does that help you clear it up? NOOOO! Who put the words in you mouth?

  • He's both pro-life and isn't. Or neither. Maybe. Is that so hard to understand?

  • i'm not sure if you guys have seen this but herman cain clearly said in another interview that islam should be banned because islam tries to injected their laws into the american system while christianity is just a religion. i dunno if he noticed but making abortions illegal IS injecting christian values into the american system. what a fucking hypocrite.

  • Summary of what his opinion is: "I am not not not not not not not Pro-Choice."

  • 0:54

    That face lolololoolololololol

  • I like how this video show's that Cain has no idea what he's talking about. With this and his ignorance on foreign policy, you conservatives would have lost bad if he won the nomination. I'm happy his campaign's imploding. It's probably for the best.

  • Calling an embryo a human being or a person does NOT change the fact that it is growing from and inside a real human being. OK let's say they are both humans. Which one should we side with if the woman does not want to give birth? The educated member of society that we have invested 20 years in? Or the one that is the size and shape of a shrimp that can be replaced in 10 weeks? Do we need EVERY embryo to grow to fruition? The population of the world increases 200,000 everyday, now!

  • This should be more of a gaffe than it is.

  • He simply said I myself am pro-life! Government should not be telling You how to live your life! Government simply should not be in on individual Rights of People

he said im pro life....And that he does not agree that if you made a mistake you simply be able to end that life after conception if there is a heart beat, Its called murder! Why cant some people understand that, Even if a woman is raped its not the childs fault you are simply murdering that innocent infant shame on YOU!

  • @tron612 If you are pro-life, you should know that being "personally" pro-life and yet in favor of people making that decision legally is simply the "pro-choice" position. It is what the great majority of all proponents of abortion argue. Herman Cain showed here he doesn't really care that much. That should be morally disconcerting to someone considering voting for him. If you are influenced by the issue of the killing of our children legally in the womb, you shouldn't vote for him.

  • @tron612 Bump for idiocy

  • @0:54 dumb-founded face FTW!!

  • Comment removed

  • "No people shouldn't be just free to abort"? He does realize he just said "all people should be free to abort," right? It's a shame he has to go flip-flopping on this important issue. Oh well, pretty much just solidified my support of Ron Paul. At least he has a consistent view on the matter.

  • $10 says SNL does a parody on Cain similar to how Tina Fey did one on Palin.

All you have to do is quote the man.....and laugh.

  • hahahhaah who is clapping???

  • Why Cain is a performance artist making money off the teabooger idiots: watch?v=VV5zZqB4PBg

  • he needs to be president

  • @escaflowne3 why?

  • @francispearson

    because he's black

  • @escaflowne3 lolno

  • @escaflowne3 If youre an anarchist.

  • @heartyman14 Herman Cain is black jesus

  • What's the confusion about?

Cain is pro-choice on life, meaning the woman has the choice to to deliver her baby-daddy's baby naturally or C-section and this baby may become a pro in life, perhaps in football, where he would make pro choices in operations like slicing left, cutting right, and busting through the opening with surgical precision, or aborting it altogether.

That's how I interpreted it at least.

  • @TheFreezer872 Hahaha Too funny lol

  • @TheFreezer872 how do I know? he CONTRADICTED HIMSELF in the same statement, and the idiots clapped on both occasions. Idiots.

  • @erik4727 LoL my comment was a satirical joke bud.

  • @TheFreezer872 why did those idiots clap on both occasions where he presented two opposing opinions?

  • @erik4727 Replay the video. It went from about 7 clappers when he was pro-life to 1 clapper when he was pro-choice. So most are pro-life, some are pro-choice. What's the problem?

Stossel's audience are mostly libertarian. Libertarians aren't like Repubs or Dems who strictly vote along party lines rather than actually thinking about the issue, so there's going to be some differences within the group.

  • @TheFreezer872 yeah, you'll enjoy being a left-libertarian! the problem isn't the government so much as it is the problem of bankers and "too big to fail" corporations who want to PRIVATIZE gains and profits and SOCIALIZE risks and losses

  • @erik4727 The govt socialized the losses, not the corps. The problem is the govt.

  • @TheFreezer872 The government wasn't outside corporations begging for a bailout, it was the other way my friend. It is ultimately the fault of the general public for doing jackshit, and even more so for trying to blame the govt. Why not blame Congress now?

  • @erik4727 They didn't have to beg for shit, half of Goldman Sachs already hold office in our govt. A little inside info here, a little guaranteed loan there, and pop goes the bubble.

OK rather than me explaining why limiting the govt will solve all these problems, why don't you explain to me what powers corporations have over us citizens. I'll start you off: they can't appropriate our tax money, they can't write laws, they can't tax us. Tell me what they can do alone w/o govt.

  • @TheFreezer872 Okay then let's say if, even if we stretched the shit out of common reason, why aren't you instead railing on our DO NOTHING tea party congress that has managed to garner the LOWEST approval rating in this nation's HISTORY (at a dismal 9%). how they ever managed to get elected i cannot yet fathom. I promote a COMPETENT govt. not an oppressive one. That's what we have now, stop acting like we dont! Corporations dont need our tax money, they get IT ALL!

  • @erik4727 Again, what power do corps have w/o the govt? It's a simple question, IDK why you dodged it.

There are plenty of limited govt types out there, that's why they got elected. Notice how Ron Paul is more popular than ever?

Our Congress can't even cut a measly $1.2T over 10 years (and those aren't even real fucking cuts). You expect the Tea Party can be effective in this environment?

  • @TheFreezer872 Corps make gov't INCOMPETENT. That's the point in all this. I will never vote for that scum of the earth Ron PAUL. I'd rather vote for a man who stands for integrity, values, and honesty: Dennis Kucinich. The problem is the "job creators" are sending millions of jobs overseas every year and on top of that not paying their fair share. Don't give me that apologist bullshit, and dont act like you care about anything but his push to legalize weed.

  • @erik4727 Why is this concept so hard for you to understand? The only reason corps have an interest in the govt is b/c the govt has power. And it's not just corps- there are all sorts of groups, unions, lobbies... that politicians pander to for the vote which screws the rest of us. We need to shrink the govt, period. Corruption will always be prevalent otherwise.

What exactly do you not like about Ron Paul? His consistent record for 30+ years? His no-nonsense stances? Standing for the

  • @erik4727 Constitution despite the consequences of losing popularity in Congress? Him being married for 50+ years? Serving in the Army? Being a physician? Few are on the same level w/ Paul regarding integrity, values, and honesty, especially not Kucinich. After being twice-divorced for 20 years, he met a tongue-ringed Brit, 31 years his junior, and married her within 1 month of meeting her. He's a sick man.

Weed is already legal in my state and I don't smoke. Hmmm what a concept!?

  • Thumbs up if this video gets funnier every time you watch it

  • My brain was one more Cain responce away from an aneurysm.

wow. I was not prepared for that barrage of illogic.

  • Just another example of pure ignorance from a top candidate. Shocking!

  • The 6 people clapping in the studio are even more annoying than he is.

  • @afrikanballa But the government is against murder. Why does it matter if the person killed is inside someone or not? The government should take a stance on murder, and THAT is the issue. Some people think it isn't murder, which is why we get this argument. This "let's stop trying to mommy the country" philosophy misses the underlying conflict of the issue entirely.

  • This was funny, but really quick became hard to watch.

  • What a moron LMAO

  • hahaha

  • lol he's so bad at this it's funny

  • I love how there are idiots clapping for his completely contradictory stance. Pro-life yet not illegal to have an abortion....

  • @drumjunky03 Don't forget in favour of choice while not wanting it to be legal.

He's a clown in this vid.

  • Just remember that this guy is going to have the launch codes.

  • Ok these politicians only seem to be pro-life until the child is born..then what? That woman who was raped now has a child to care for. What if she can't? Do poloticians like Herman care then? Nope...as long as that child can grow up to pay taxes, wth does he care? Yea there are options like adoption, but it should be up to the woman/mother. It wasn't her choice to get raped...

  • Yes. If you examine his statements on the subject, he is strongly pro-life. I believe that what he meant is that this is not something a President or the Congress can get involved in (the banning of abortion). That being said (and said poorly here, I grant you), he has stated that he will do everything in his power, consistent with his constitutional authority, to promote a culture of life.

  • In 2006, Cain donated one million dollars to try and convince black Americans to vote pro-life. In practice, he is pro-life. He said he would appoint only pro-life justices, would defund Planned Parenthood and would sign legislation to overturn Roe v. Wade if it crossed his desk. His track record is 100% pro-life.

  • The only thing I disagree with Ron Paul is his stance on abortion. But I do believe his policies would make it up to the states so I guess that is pragmatic enough for me

  • @rebreh1029 That's correct. He thinks it should be handled at the state level, as opposed to being handled nationally as it is now.

  • @rebreh1029

Ron's 'compromise', as you put it, would have the effect of removing this poisonous issue from federal politics which is how the evangelicals got all riled up in the first place, voting for whomever was the most rabid anti-abortionist. Nothing gets them to the polls more effectively, not even gay men kissing.

Prior to Roe vs Wade, evangelicals were mostly apolitical, at least as a group. It's a highly effective wedge issue which gets us from discussing stuff like the FED

  • Ladies and Gentlemen.... Herman Palin.

  • he's a clown, but i don't think republicans understand the concept of "small government." this dead clock just happens to be right twice a day.

  • Either he is a complete moron, or he thinks everyone else is.

  • The Greatest Troll of All time.

  • yea, that episode confused the hell out of me. Is he pro life or pro choice? lol

  • Aneurism much?

  • What is so difficult to understand?

He said HE PERSONALLY is pro-life, but the government should NOT get involved in "touchy" cases such as rape and incest..

  • Comment removed

  • This dude should just quit. Black people haven't had anyone set them this far back since Flavor Flav.

  • @girlygoalie We need to get serious about being pro-life and about the future of our nation and elect Ron Paul, his bill would prohibit the Supreme Court from reviewing cases related to human reproduction. That in effect overturns Roe v Wade without forcing any states to oppose or favor abortion.

  • @francispearson I agree, so lets ban the death penalty too.

  • @joab327 sounds good

  • @girlygoalie No. He said... pretty clearly there... that getting an abortion is a woman's choice. But also that he doesn't support abortion. His heart is as far from the right place as you can get, because it's clear he doesn't care enough about the issue to even understand it. He's just repeating talking points he thinks will get a conservative base to support him.

  • @girlygoalie if these guys are so pro life, why do they seem to have no problem with people dying?

    doesn't life continue after birth?

  • I don't know what you mean by "these guys". I know that this gal is pro-life, and I do have a problem with people dying. That's why I'm glad that God solved that problem for us 2000 years ago.

  • @girlygoalie Ok not sure death was solved. we are still dying.

No, some idea that dead people live on doesn't really count.

though I admit cain's response is so nonsensical, it;s hard to know what he believes.

  • Comment removed

  • @girlygoalie Rather silly, the man should be able to give a succinct and coherent answer to the question. He's running for the Presidency of the United Sates; I'd prefer someone in office who is at least able to articulate his thoughts. Cain clearly cannot.

  • @girlygoalie He's pandering to both sides of the fence on a very black or white issue. It's just sad. His heart does't seem to be in the right place on this issue, because he shows very little conviction on a very important issue.

  • So he does believe a woman should be made to have a child even in the case of rape or incest? Who pays for that child then?

The idiots clapping is probably the worse part becuase they could live next to me. Damn.

  • Typical Libs Pre-Judge Before they see Full Context!

Google Hulu Stossel July 14, 2011.

  • Voluntary Taxes good idea. LOL

  • People are hurting. It IS about health care and the wealth gap. You are brainwashed its not ur fault. I forgive you.

  • Wow, and this from a fellow Purdue grad. Embarassing, what an idiot Cain is.

  • I don't think he is flipflopping people, he just seriously does not know how abortion works or the governments roll in it. Meet your typical GOP candidate

  • Republicans claim to be Christian conservative... lol Christian means "Christ Like". I dont see any Republican who is Christ like. Not one. Jesus fed the poor, healed the sick. You are not for universal health care? Jesus would be. Tax the rich to help the poor... That is what Jesus would do. Stock pile and horde money and possessions not willing to share with thy neighbor... not what Jesus would do.

  • @GorillaAgent There are lots of filthy rich Democrats too who don't give a cent to anyone else. They manage their money in ways to avoid paying taxes wherever possible- just like most everyone. Jesus wanted to feed the poor and whatever, but at no point did he ever FORCE anybody to relinquish their wealth to do so. The Disciples weren't the IRS, or some regulatory commision that went around forcing rich people to give their money to Jesus.

  • @10072018 Well first of all most if not all Left wingers do not claim to be Christian Conservative. Second they are for health care for all , and are more Christ Like in that regard. Thirdly Jesus and the church used tithes to feed the poor and hungry. Not to create mega churches. We are talking about a 5% increase for the 1% from 34 to 39%. That is pure greed in a time where the 1% enjoys the biggest tax benefits in history.

  • @GorillaAgent Tithes are voluntary. And the scriptures recomend a tithe as 10%, not 39%. Do you really think raising taxes 5% on the wealthiest 1% is really gonna feed all the poor and cover all the sick? That whole idea is just a political tactic used to create class envy and rally support among the Democrat base. Raising taxes on the rich wouldn't help anybody. As far as health care, that debate is far more complicated than "liberals want everybody to have health care, conservatives don't."

  • Not to mention the 100K per speaking engagement Herman Cain gets as well as the book he is trying to push. This like Donald Trump , Sarah Palin, and others are in the race to do just that. make money. This guy doesnt have a chance in hell to make it to the white house. Maybe if he chose Jesus as his running mate. lol The GOP is not going to win in 2012 they do not have a good candidate, and Obama has a pretty good resume now that he is ending the Iraq war.

  • This guy is a moron. Without a guy behind the curtain with a hand up this puppets anus, he has no clue what to say. He is ignorant, racist, and uneducated when compared to real candidates.

  • I at first also thought what he was saying is crazy and he doesn't want admit he is pro life. The only explanation could be is that he means he is against federal government prohibiting abortion, and if a conservative state were to illegalize them the he would not interfere . Actually the only truly pro life candidate is Ron Paul and Bachmann. Ron Paul voted against abortions every time

  • Comment removed

  • how can we protect life if it's her choice? i'm not getting cain's logic

  • Clever at Math or not. This dude is dumb as dogshit. This proved it.

  • Well, his campaign is toast. We already knew he wasn't electable because he has no experience in the game. This only made it worse that he has no idea of how issues are sided.

  • @eldiceuf Sadly, his supporters on Twitter are ignoring this clip and focusing on his cover up. They are so desperate to have a candidate that isn't Romney, they will get behind any idiot they can who brings THIER religion into it. So Sad

  • hahah he said that the government shouldn't chose but then he says that Abortion should be illegal, what a fail!!!!!!!

  • I don't think I've ever seen anything so confusing

  • For Full Context see Hulu Stossel July 14, 2011.

  • So we see 'robot.....' has the Perfect Name!

People turn into Robots when they No longer think for themselves, but Believe All the Lies about American History!

    'progressive' Puppets Parrot Propaganda.

  • @3martijns U mad bro?

Just because you disagree with someone doesn't mean they are ignorant. Wake up

  • Stossel: Mr. Cain, in the event Iran should drop a nuclear bomb on Jersey City, would you decide to retaliate.

Cain: I'm not sure the president has that authority. In the first place, how big is the bomb? What section of Jersey City and will it affect sales of Godfather Pizza or my book? The Iraqians or whatever the name is, have the right to drop bombs on any city they choose, but it doesn't necessarity mean war. I've never been to Iranistan. Is that clear?

  • @leonamitchell2

Ahh, this should be the top comment.

Whenever I read a political rant online, I hear Duckman. Whenever I read self-contradictory illogic I hear Cain.

  • Regardless of what one's beliefs may be concerning the morality of abortion, this is pretty indicative Herman Cain is NOT fit for the Presidency. LOL, they call Romney a flip-flopper, but at least he wasn't stupid enough to twist his brain into holding two contradictory positions at the same!

Out with these clowns! Ron Paul 2012! < *shameless plug*

  • @BardWanderer Ron Paul isnt the answer. He is not for Health Care for all, and he is out to let every person fend for themselves. No health care, no education, no infrastructural of roads and bridges. We will end up like a third world country. Oh wait even 3rd world countries give health care to ALL of their citizens. So we wont have roads, equal opportunity for education, start out in debt and have poor health and mental health. Good choice. hahaha

  • um what? he is so lost lol

  • 9-9-9 rhymes with mine, mine, mine..it's simple

  • LOLOLOL

Republicans are so richly deserving of having this guy be the representative of their party!

  • DERPP!!!

  • LMAOOOOOO!!!! Too Funny!!!!!!!!

  • LOL. Libbies even Lie on their channel pages!

    American Conservative Values:

God, Family, Honor, Truth, Limited Government, Responsibility, Free Markets, Common Sense.

    Libbie 'progressive' values:

Atheism, Abortion, Hate - Lies, BIG Government, Nanny State, Socialism/Communism, "Whatever".

  • @3martijns So you admit Republicans in power in American government do not have any concept of separation of church and state, all the while preaching "what the founding fathers intended" when in fact the founding fathers were not so religious and crazy themselves and the world in which they lived was hardly comparable to modern society?

  • @robotic7200 i could not have said this better, even if i studied..

  • this dude is a fail.

  • @3martijns Don't you get it? You can't say that something "isn't the government's choice" and in the same breath tell us that it "should be illegal." What a failtard this guy is. I'm sure he'll go far in the GOP race.

  • LOL this guy is a fucking doofus.

  • Cain Is Far Ahead of Romney in Iowa.

Cain is the Main Man for Main Street!

We Will Beat obama with a Cain!

He is a Populist like Ronald Reagan.

    The People's Choice.

    The Cain Train is UNstoppable!

  • @3martijns HAHAHAHA. The idea of Herman Cain being even remotely populist is ridiculous.

  • Cain was Clear - Any Abortion Should be Not Legal - there have Always been Illegal Abortions.

Liberals Always Want to Demonize Everything Conservatives Say!

  • 0:54 sums up this video

  • LMAO 0:54!

  • Comment removed

  • What ? Say what ? I 'm confused. LOL

  • Typical Republican. Contradicting himself. It seems the Republicans are for the government sticking it's nose in your life if it's for their causes. Yet those same children get older and end up starving they can't get any food stamps. Typical Republican hypocrite.

  • I think Republicans can do better.

  • What's with that one person clapping all the way through? Is that his wife?

  • 0:45 Lukewarm, confused applause

0:55 Ellis Henican's mouth is agape

1:05 No, that doesn't help to clear it up

  • Pro-Life and Pro-Choice need to be renamed. This yet again shows there are people who call themselves Pro-Life yet support women's right to abortion, yet are in denial that they are technically Pro-Choice. The stances should be renamed to Pro-Right or Pro-Revoke. I guarantee you the 50-50 split we see now will immediately lean Pro-Right because there won't be people in the closet on it.

  • @eldiceuf and what those things mean?

  • @Lius525 The re-namings? Pro-Right would be supporting women's right to have an abortion. Pro-Revoke would be supporting the removal of women's right to have an abortion. That would clear away the in-the-closet Pro-Choicers that think they are Pro-Life, hence come to realize they are Pro-Right.

  • @eldiceuf And what about the pro-choicers that are really leaning towards pro-life? You're assuming there's only confusion and mixed opinion on one side.

  • @eldiceuf Why not simply call it pro-abortion and anti-abortion? No confusion whatsoever. No buzz-words. No biases in people's leanings. The words you chose lean in favour of abortion, because you chose them to imply that anti-abortion people want to remove rights. Calling it simple pro or anti abortion fixes that entirely.

and btw, I don't think we should have the "right" to kill.

  • @BalmungSama0 Because the same confusion would occur as it is now. Just because you oppose abortions doesn't mean you oppose the right. Many people support the right, yet call themselves pro-life because they wouldn't either have nor agree with somebody having one (hence they are in the closet). You're getting confused when you say "but what about pro-choicers leaning towards pro-life". The only way that would technically be the case is if a pro-choicer may support revoking women's right.

  • Cain is just in it for the publicity and money that brings. He's on a huge book/speaking tour, basically, and doesn't even have campaign operations in key primary states. Just like with Palin and Trump WE ARE BEING TROLLED AGAIN, AMERICA.

  • And I thought Bush was dumb....O_o

  • you all need to understand this is "apples and oranges". the only thing is that his apples and oranges come from a pizza box (so freakin' confusing)

  • He's flip-flopping all over the place.

  • @db528 not flipflopping, hes just fucking retarded

  • @hameed way to be blunt

  • @hameed I agree.

  • @hameed agreed. He believes what he said, but then he was told that won't get him the nomination so he switched

  • Herman cain is a f#*@king retard!!! Ha ha ha. I love it. Only the Republicans would allow this half wit to run without vetting him. My god, he makes absolutely no sense what so ever and gets angry when you point out his contradictions, yup.... he is a Republican.

  • Herman Cain's either an idiot, a political genius, or the greatest troll ever. Wedge issues getting you down? Take notes, Romney: flip-floppin' ain't a two-step; it's a waltz. Problem Republicans?

  • @fletchermaxwell Greatest Troll of all time.

  • Oh America, I thought you were cool

  • wow, that is a fucked up answer. Weather you are pro life or pro choice, it doesn't matter it is confusing.

  • Herman is answering the question, " are there any cases where it (abortion) should be legal?" and he said "I don't think government should make that decision." what decision? the decision that there are cases where abortion should be legal! He is saying government shouldnt say whether a woman should abort or not. 1Snooper1 is right he is saying it is wrong to abort, yet government should not try and determine that there are cases that can be legal, nor take away the FREEDOM to commit a wrong act

  • @matt7156 ......Your position makes as much sense as his. So the government doesn't decide whether it's legal or not, but also shouldn't take away people's freedom to abort?

....That means abortion would be legal! If they're allowed to do it, by law, it is legal. Did you think before typing?

Fruther, "freedom" to commit a wrong act? The government restricts freedom to do wrong as it is. Case in point; almost every law, ever. Why is abortion special?

  • so this is the type of guy that runs fast food joints ? no wonder they all suck .

  • This isn't the only issue where Cain tries to claim both sides of the fence at the same time. This clown is a distraction.

  • Herman Cain ROCKS! He just took every single Libertarian, Marxist-Moonbat, Democrat, Democrat In Drag and every "alleged" Conservative that walks the planet straight to the woodshed! OUTSTANDING! Just in case NO ONE figured all of this out -- The FEDERAL GOVERNMENT needs to STAY OUT of abortions and NO MOTHER should have an abortion. Sounds

like he is dead nuts correct! RIGHT ON HERMAN CAIN! He is NEITHER Pro-Life or Pro-Murder ... he IS Constitutional AND Christian. Squirm much? LOL!!

  • @1Snooper1 Cain doesn't rock. He's full of mud and confused. He doesn't even craft his lies, he makes them up on the fly and his low IQ supporters buy into it.

  • @1Snooper1 ...He literally said "I am pro-life." How is he not pro-life? WATCH THE DAMN VIDEO.

  • @meggied90 cause he said it is solely up to the family or the indivdual herself to choose whether to go with abortion. he says upfront "that's her choice". watch the video

  • @phenomenalclassic93 Yeah he said "that's her choice" but he also said that it should be illegal, meaning it is NOT her choice. Cain is stupid. I am personally "pro life" in that I do think that abortions are wrong, BUT I believe every woman SHOULD have the choice and so that it should NOT be illegal. This position is not hard to articulate and it wasn't what Cain was trying to get at. He was utterly confused, saying it should be the woman's choice but that it should not be legal. huh?

  • @intotheinfinite I am going to go ahead and give this the thumbs up....wtf was he trying to say? lol

  • @1Snooper1 He said the government should not make that decision, yet he said abortion should be illegal. He makes no sense.

  • He's pro-moron
