i have homebrew and gecko, and ive tryed all the zro shit out there and none of the crap will replace the moveset right, i think i need a gecko code for nintendo wii code manager to put in my sd card, also x vr zero song didnt work and neather did the stage or megaman, the only thing that works for me is skin and songs from brawl vault (x vr zero wasnt on there like the link gave)

Zero is just about as broken as metaknight. honestly he may be even more broken. His recovery is ridiculous to the point where he's beyond edgeguarding, but other than that i find it easy to fight close range against a zero user.

@1Linnil1 That's because Zero's smashes change when fully charged.  When not fully charged, for example, the lightning attack is just like the first part of Link's side smash.

This is pretty damn badass. The hacking community is so awesome that it goes beyond the texture hacks and makes actual characters with new movesets and everything! Good job!

By the way, I don't get why you are insulting Sakurai. All he was doing was showing a preview of the character's specials. He had no reason to show everything. Just because he didn't show the things you wanted does not make him an idiot. Get over yourself, please.

I would believe you, but he signed away his "right" to be protected from ridicule when he added tripping. Such a move is not funny, nor does it add depth to the game. Break the Targets was destroyed badly too. If he did have common sense a few things would have remained intact. It's not a hit at the Melee physics system being superior, but there are some things that make Brawl a little "What?" when you play. I don't see much of what Brawl has that didn't grope at flavor of the week material.

Very cool character, but my only complaint is his "charge" move. -.- It would have been better if you had the "Full charge" scope on instead of the beam gun... No offense, but I never used the "straight beam" armament in Zero 2 - I thought it was anticlimatic, and it was weaker than a standard charge shot.

i thought too, but if you don't fully charge his left/right smashes, then they are different than if you charge them all the way. is that what yours does?

Here are the moves i know: 0:05 Rajingeki from Megaman X4 0:10 Ryuenjin from X4 as well 0:17 is the spear weapon from X8 0:27 Kuuenbu from X4 0:41 Z-buster 0:51 Dash (DUH!) 0:59 Is the blade ball thing in MMZ 1:03 Hienkyaku from X4 (The dash jump) 1:41 Rakuhouha from X4 (color blue in X4) 1:46 Tenkuuha from X4 (Purple color Saber) 1:59 Ensuizan From X6 This is really accurate to Zero's in game moves. What I never got about this hack is why is Zero's saber attached to his arm?

Okay, THAT was pretty retarded. Sakurai's "how to play" section was directed at new players, and was by no means a guide; it was just a preview, nothing more. Uhm, I have a question...

Is it possible to have two different character models that use the same body?

For example: If you use Zero Link, can you use a different custom Link in the same battle or will it always just be Zero Link and no one else.

The character data remains the same, but you can use different textures/colors. Had I chosen green Link, we'd be seeing Link act like Zero. This particular texture was set up for Link's red costume.

That's more or less his transformation into his real power. He's actually invincible for a short while after, and the power of his attacks are increased slightly.
