isn't that an mg 42 because the mg 34 has a drum magazine.

@deltaA320 no its the difference in the barrel, the 42 had a more square barrel with slots in it, the 34 has the drilled out barrel, a drum mag could be used on either, as well as a belt, the drum is just a belt wound up inside the drum and attaches to the side, and the belt feeds the same way as without the drum

hey how did u make the holes in the barrel, im making a 30 cal as you know

@MickityMickMick04 put your metal pipe or pvc in a vise, and rill the holes out however far apart you want them, and then alternating each row, either on a drill press or with a regular drill

i originaly was going to make a 42, but didnt because right now i really have no way of making the cooling barrel....

its like a short section of pipe w/ a cap on one end, and teeth on the other. Its got a top section on the cap end that a drill fits in, the drill keeps it place (dont try it w/out the drill) They probably have them at like home depot, lowes, or any hardware store

um i need help with the barrel portion. i dont know how to connect the metal barrel to the weapon itsself

Its simple really, for you, since your using metal, just find the right hole saw size, drill it, and the barrel will slide into the ring it makes, and screw it in. We used pvc, so we just cut out a notch the width of the pipe and screwed it on the top and bottom

yah, really all i can say is make little punch holes with an ol before you drill out the barrel so the drill doesnt move around, and I fully assemble everything before painting, so i dont wreck the paint job adding stuff
