@tfe423 thak you so much.... and yes i do know who wrote it...Harlin Howard wrote it...the story I have read is that harlin was given this song not in its entirety and was fiddling around with it and called up patsy ...as he had written a few things for her...and asked for her opnion..... they worked on it all night over a few whiskies and at around midnight called up Owen Bradly and sang it to him over the phone..... he loved it and it became Patsys Hit in ....I beleive 1962.....
