from the front of this car it looks kinda bad. but from the rear it looks bad ass. how it is on the streets I dont know but it looks like it could make asfalt melt
Can't say I'm a fan of the monster rear tire, from front to back it goes from looking clean and sleek to awkward in a hurry. I'd imagine it's a very heavy tire as well.
This should be the most affordable design for any electric car. They priced it to high. If India, Korea, or China can redesign it, it should be well under $12K retail. US builder for this design is now isolating themselves from their own consumers. They are going to regret it very soon.
@katielovehue Vehicles like this are considered a motorcycle under U.S. law, but states can enact what they deem to be safer laws. You should consult with your local motor vehicle authorities.
Plus: Tech & Looks as if it belongs on the set of A.I. Great concept - in theory.
Cons: Suspected durability issues of rear suspension exposed to the elements, psst - brake is a bike design: bikes aren't designed for use on cold slushy freeways, traction on ice from single fat tire, Hydra-foiling at 1" hr rainfall/hr, HVAC, blowouts, FMVSS rating, E-system performance at -20 C $35K+
Net: Limited audience if unknowns not addressed properly
I love the look of this car, the red and black is the sexiest. I've often thought of making an electric car from scratch but I don't think I could ever make it look as good as this. I wonder how well it performs in northern Minnesota weather. 40 below winters and ice covered roads. We have cold weather testing where I live because our conditions are so rough. Hey Zap guys you give me an Alias and I'll cold weather test it every winter by driving it 14 miles too and from work every day :)
I luv this car!! it looks gorgeous but what happened to the butterfly doors that open outward. In this video the doors don't open the same way!! I'm into futuristic looking cars like this one and the Aptera that have high efficiency. I hope this and the Aptera make it to the market.
The rear wheel looks great...Its unique and reminds me of the rear wheel of The Dark Knight's Batmobile. With a wheel like that, this car should be highly stable right?

@TheCottonTop 1cent per mile electric or 3.66 per gallon and rising...and polluting....I'd prefer electric. one can add ac if they want.

Look at the size of that rear tire! With the two-tone paint and generally wicked appearance, this thing kind of reminds me of the Bugatti Veyron.
