  • QUESTION: Do I really have to shut my coputer down, then connect the interface, and then turn on my computer again??? Because thats what the manual says. If I don't do it that way it can harm my computer or the interface. IS This REALLY that important ??? PLEASE RESPOND !

  • I like how the presenter sounds utterly bored with the whole proceedings.

You can almost see his glazed, empty eyes.

  • i have a profire, and im trying to get a recording program , but this guy was telling me that having a profire and running pro-tools will give me a problem because i have windows 7... anyone know if this is true?

  • can i use a behringer xenyx mixer -> profire 2626 -> mac?

  • i use this with sonar 8.5. its awesome!.

  • I don't get it, 26 ins and outs, but there are only 8 mic inputs, and 8 outputs? I want to record an entire band, which already uses 8 mics for drums, so I need more than 8 inputs.

  • @drmsgtrplayer The 2 ADAT ports support the other 16 inputs and outputs

  • So to expand the 2626 I have been told by sweetwater to get the M-Audio Octane Since the Mackie board wont work as expansion..

  • Can you hook up a compressor to this? If so, how?

  • Hello, I have a problem with my interface profire 2626, the sound pauses suddenly, and no longer it sounds nothing, that can be, I ask if it can be the controladora card that is not 1394ª, but is only 1394 without the letter (a), I am thankful for its aid, that another one can be.

  • I just ordered this baby, picking it up tomorrow then I'll rip the pants out of it.

Nice module at a nice price, ROCK-ON

  • hi will this work with my macbook? its the white normal 13 inch screen version. thanks

  • I've heard it will work with the white macbook, according to my local music shop, and is what i'm planning on getting soon... hopefully.

  • Why only 96kHz and 18 x 18 I/O maximum with Pro Tools M-Powered??

    What happened to 192 kHz?

  • Pro Tools in M-Powered and LE editions can only support up to 96kHz, if you want any higher you need to get a top of the line HD system which costs around 10 times the price of the Profire2626

but, the great thing about the 2626 is that you can link two together in SMUX mode and have 16I/O of 96kHz all with mic pre's

that makes it easily better than the Digi003 Rack

  • are firewire cables included in the box?

  • Cable Firewire goes in the complete set

  • @diegoesk it includes a 6 to 6 pin (for both FireWire 400), if you got a mac, you need to boy a 6 to 9 pins (9 pins is for Firewire 800), the ProFire2626 is a Firewire 400 product... careful
