@anitacharmine No, this film did so poorly at the box office that Hollywood Road Studios closed down and a planned sequel was shelved indefinitely. All that is known to exist of the film is 12 minutes of unfinished animation; about a minute of this footage has been posted on YouTube by a linetester/animator.

GOD, this is so awful. I mean, the villains, the heroes and the storyline is ok, but the way the action is made, especially with the fighting scenes....bleh...just so obvious and easy and...god, just bleh

@Artprincess247 I don't think the villains themselves are that bad, Messina actually does seem pretty threatening throughout the movie, although I do agree, the fight scenes are really lame. I blame whoever choreographed the fight scenes personally.

@xXxTandixXx: When I say "Americans" I mean the American editors, not all Americans. In fact this film has a much larger fanbase in the US than in its native UK because of the edited version's more high-profile video release. I bash the editors because of their treatment of this film and concequently they gave the film a worse reputation than it should have, being the most accessible print out there at the time.

He was on his hands and knees because he was losing consiousness and was trying to keep himself awake. Don't forget he was handling the gem so it may have had more of an effect on him than the other characters who were knocked out by it.

The sleep ray was so powerful it knocked him unconsious. Don't forget he physically handled the gem so it may have had more of an impact on him than some of the other characters who were affected.

I also have trouble hearing her because not only is the music loud, she speaks way too fast. The loud music is a fault of the sound mix produced for the VHS release.

You know, I'm still struggling to hear what she said even though the sound's clearer on my cut copy...all I can hear is "blood" "my dear" and "above yours". Sorry I couldn't be of any help.
