The way this Artist William Bouguereau took control of light in his paintings and the human body to me was a was a master artist. He was not given proper recognition , and to the Idea of morphing his work was awesome it really shows his work the beauty of a women's face.
This was a great idea. I love it. It makes his paintings come alive like I've never seen before. It's like his women are alive. It's poetic. Great music too. This makes me reappreciate Bouguereau all over again. Thanks.
@MilkaRanch If it is good......it'll be a FIRST for the Tate Modern. All I've seen is junk pretending to be that which it is clearly not !! This video was visually stunning. My thanks to 'elbatube' for posting.

This isn't merely "Bouguereau + morphing + Verdi".
Choosing a musical work to add remarkable additional expressivity to portraits each one already speaking by their own, and not only compatibilizing compasses with morphing transitions but choosing those image sequences that better translates the deep music evolution sense, deserves to be considered A NEW ARTISTIC CREATION, whose author is... the video creator.
So, an environment like youtube becomes a RISING CHANNEL FOR ARTISTIC EXPRESSIONS.
@P43066: ¡Thanks for your valuable comment & lyrics!
I should add, for a better understanding of his opus, that Nabucco (spanish Nabucodonosor) was composed by Giuseppe Verdi approx one year after his children and wife dead, circa 1840.
And I should thank, too, to the people who related this paints of Boughereau with Nabucco of Verdi and the morphing technique, wich considerated as a whole is also another valuable art expression.
Loved the morphing and sometimes they looked a little scary. I noticed Bouguereau only favors one type of mouth, very consistent throughout all these paintings.
I did not expect to like this, but it turned out to be a great pleasure! Wonderful paintings, very effective and lovely technique for displaying them! ~NAncy
Very very good!!!
FANTASTIC! Some go by a little too fast for me to name, and there's one toward the end I don't even recognize. You have done a wonderful job: Bouguereau would be proud.
Extraordinary, and really does seem to show the life and the different character spark in each portrait. Encourages proper examination of the paintings, rather than quick dismissal of many as just repetitive. Bouguereau's technique come to life.
I'm not sure what the heck that last image is though.....lol. Totally weird, and doesn't look like bougeureau.. maybe a time when he copied a photograph.
Muuchas gracias!
This is the first Bouguereau I've seen. I've never heard of him and I'm an artist. I'm dumbfounded by these paintings. Where has this guy's work been kept hidden for the last century? I don't recollect his work ever showing up in any of my art history textbooks.
What grabs me is the look of utter peace, fearlessness and innocence in the eyes of these women and girls. I don't find this kind of gaze in women of today which looks more like preoccupied indifference.
Ah! He's considered one of the greatest 19th century Academic painters. Funny thing about postmo artists is that they piece together own relevant art history. In my experience, the focus on modernism often results in rejecting the entire history of Academic art as if it was a single image.

Lyrics ('Libertad', from "Nabucco". Voice - Nana Mouskouri):
