  • Yo. I want to get some Ford racing headers for my 2003 5.4l. The reason i have not made a final decision is because in the picture on ebay it does not show an EGR port.

WHAT DID YOU DO WITH YOUR EGR VALVE ?

How did you reconnect it ?

  • Sounds awsome. Where did you find Ford Racing Headers to fit that 5.4 for that year? I have an 2002 i want to put some on.

  • mustang headers will work on these trucks

  • Sounds good like a Ford should! I got an 02 f150 with the 4.6 and just had the exhaust completely redone. Don't have true duals like yours, but my exhaust is Loud! Nice truck

  • AWESOME sounding mean as hell

  • there has to be either a X or H pipe cause the exhaust would be unbalanced. With a truck gotta remember, the right manifold exhaust will always be louder, the left has to be guided over to the right so the pipes are together, after they pass the rear the left goes back over to the left side, therefore the left manifold is quieter due to longer piping. So there needs to be a X or H pipe to balance it. Its true dual none the less.

  • Thanks Darren. Nice to see folks on here who are not stuck in highschool shop class. The exhaust is going to get re-done this spring when the weather breaks and I got a bit of room in the shop. 1/2 cats (maybe none. havent decided), long tube headers instead of shorties, 70m throttle body and if i got the time left/right the tubes with long H. Not collected on passenger side small H. PS. Search my Burnout.

  • if its true dual there is no h pipe it means its got 2 mufflers

  • true duals just means that it doesnt come together at a cat

  • another jackass with no clue...

  • if it has any connection between the two pipes, it wouldnt be true dual would it? i thought true dual mean the pipes have no connection- no y pipe, h pipe or anything.

  • it means theres 2 mufflers not a catback with 1

  • thats a supercrew isnt it? its nice, im buying one this spring, have u had any problems with it?

  • Intake manifold gasket. Bank 2. Tore down, rebuilt. 64,000 mi. Rail dust on body constantly hiding. So far; those are the only two things that come to mind.

  • No supercrew. Reg cab, 2 buckets.

  • man where was the rev? it sounds good at idle but ya didnt touch the gas pedal but it looks like your in a residential area so i dont blame ya

  • yes, stock cats. i recently also put in a larger throttle body to go with my open air. ill post a new video as soon as the snow melts.

  • do you have stock cats?
