as a haitian bourn young man i grew up there and back in the 80-90s that's how things were. no lie, i remember it very well. now a few things have changed and are changing toward haitians. but still they used to tell us go back to your country, well i went away allwright but not to haiti but in france; and guess what : I'm not going back unless to see my family which is still there, or just visit to see people i knew. but man if ya haitian go to canada or florida not there

there are a lot of haitians in st martin but they're treated like shit there man. when you're haitian some people looks at you like you were nothing man. and worst the word haitian is used as a bad word ( yep as a bad word that 's wat i said!!!) by many people there. you can even be disrespected on the streets will walking and minding your own busyness, unless you act like a non-haitian (speak st martiners slang, dress like them, don't ang-up with haitians).
