  • Tommy Fucking Aldridge!!

  • that Tommy is a monster..his drums solo..awesome.

  • please someone make a awsome comment to show this video to all 9gaggers !

  • death tempo

  • omg alice cooper with blonde hair!

  • That guitar solo is sex

  • que porrada!!!

  • had to get a beer and a shot for this song

  • That was awesome. Can't find much original bands of this caliber coming out onto the scene these days. We have only to enjoy those who have come before. A real pity.

  • Bring back the 80's man!! today's no talent ass clowns suck!!

  • why does he killing those drums?

  • vaya pedazo de tema y vaya pedazo de batera, no he aprendio na de el, buuuuuf , graaaaande muy grande !!!

  • b. just cause you see someone do something similar doesnt mean they are doing the same thing. I swear if i had a nickle for everytime a drummer sounds like a steam train on the tracks like Peter Criss did in God of Thunder, I would be rich as hell. Or a gutarist plays the star spangled banner like hendrix aka every fucking guitarist ever.

by the way, all hair metal bands were the same. so fuck it.

Just let the set speak for itsself and quick bitchin.

  • to hogben01:

    A. the simpsons did it! who the fuck cares?

  • kick ass set.

  • Esse show por algum acaso foi o do Rio? Se não é, stá muuuuito igual ao q eu vi da primeira fila *-*

  • what an EPIC drum solo, that was just awesome

  • i did like this band when they were around , they had some great tunes, obviously why i'm hear listening to it but almost everything about them is an image ripp off off Zeppelin, from bow solo's to vocal styling and now i see this and gotta laugh, what a total image ripp of the late great Bonzo on the drum solo, using the hands and throwing some flange on it, now come on really, to me it seems like a desperate attempt try and convince people they were the second coming of Zep, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @hogben01 i thoght robert cloverdale was the plant of the 80 's ??....and how is the drummer trying to be like Bonzo ?..their chops are completely different..plus whitesnake started in the 70's

  • dag is great!!!!!

  • Tommy Aldridge is a crazy motherfucker

    too bad he left whitesnake

  • Those people who put 8 downs must be retarded!!!!!

  • @totalmetalisation SIMPLE they have no clue who whitesnake is .

  • @PauloKiske Very funny.

  • muito bom

  • The bassist looks like Joey DeMaio from Manowar!!! Cant be ... would be the betrayal of the century. lol !!!

  • ALDRIDGE..ALDRICH...COVERDALE!

  • jaaaaaaaaaaa bastards buajaajjaja \\m//

  • Sorry folks but 77/78 lineup, can't be beaten even with Cosy at the drums

  • @stucarnochan ....WORD

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think there's no blues in Whitesnake's music anymore...and that's sad...

  • @gibagang there hasn't been blues in Whitesnakes music for the past 20 odd years Discuss

  • @gibagang your kidding right? you picked one song, listen to the new album which has plenty of blues songs.

  • Drums! WOW omg! WOW

    John Bonham look this Man!

  • Tommy's the best double basser I've ever heard. I'm not a drummer, but I know that it's really hard to keep a steady double bass going and in stuff like this and Burn he just blows me away

  • How's that for a drum solo? 4:40

  • GONZO !!!!

    Very good solo drum

    from France

  • Love love the drum solo!!

  • @PauloKiske sorry....best line up was sarzo/vandenburg/vai.....ummmmmm?

  • With the great Tommy Aldridge on drums!

  • this is the reall David COWERDALE great

  • its awesome to have the 80s back day after day

  • this was performed with such a venom and rage. it makes you want to scream, to rebel and to walk out on the roof, stand there and start screamin' as getting slightly drunk. it makes you feel wild again and you're near to lose control. totaly mindblowing. good jobs guys, you've done perfectly. you showed people what's real rock and roll about. you ROCK.

  • I cry myself to sleep every night knowing that i wasn't at this show, I would kill for a time machine.

  • who is the drumer here...? why-o-why can't I think of his name...??? lol..he goes nuts here..awesome!!! TOMMY ALDRIDGE!!!--yess!!! :D

  • I seen him with THIN LIZZY,....Awesome player!!! Mad as f*ck!! :)

  • classic

  • Coverdale is SOOOOO HOT!!!!!! Too bad John Sykes wasn't in this, what an awesome guitar player!!! Love his solo work

  • Whitesnake4 ever ♥

  • drop d?

ps Doug is amazing, I got hooked on his playing after watching his Betcha Can't Play This

  • EBASI BARABANA !!! EBASI MAMATA

  • It's almost unfair to have a drummer like Tommy... a vocalist like Coverdale... AND a guitarist like Aldrich in the same band. The guitar solo (2:55 'til 4:30) by Aldrich is just SCORCHING...

  • Doug Aldrich, John Sykes = Les Paul GODS!

  • i love David and WS, but when he sings "I can never deny all the sweet things I have tasted" and licks his fingers and runs them over his dick.....I always get a little hummm ?? is it grossed out or turned on??? a little of both maybe, which is very disturbing LOL

  • like I said before vai, vanderburg, great guitarists in their own right but didn;t have the feel .dougy is probably the closest thing coverdale will ever get to john sykes.remember blue murder awesome solo album

  • but none the less thatt guitar solo and drum solo will always need talent to be performed that good :P

  • im sorry for those that disagree but i feel that whitenake was the best with john sykes... the true artist behind 1987..... i don't think whitesnake ever shined a light brighter than with the line-up of cozy powell and john sykes .... say what u want but sykes will forever be the under-rated one out of the group...

  • If i think that Aldridge is a self thaught drummes...

i'm goin to trash my drum in the can

  • Oh my!

  • tommy d god, snake 4eva classic fuck

  • to bad they arent as famous as they deserve to be

  • 2:00 this moment makes me freak out everytime!!!

  • the best drum solo EVER!!!Tommy is God!!!!!!!!

  • Inhuman drums...

  • epic drum solo

  • This is the reason why I should practise guitar technique more..:

I nearly shit my pants when I heard that solo xD

  • now he is 58!!!!!! LEGEND!!!!!!!

  • WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!?!? THAT WAS THE MOST AWESOME SHIT IVE EVER SEEN......im speechless......literally idk what to say

  • Seen this gig in London, priceless! What a voice, what a talent. Legend,,,,, and tommy was awesome too :-))

  • Great!!

  • holy crap ive never seen a bare hand solo before. THAT WAS BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!! what is he 50 + years old Tommy Aldrige. sweet

  • he stole that move from John Bohnam, he used to do it during Led Zepplin concerts

  • @will335 No, he didn't steal it from Bohnam, coincidentally they just had the same idea. Tommy was influenced by Joe Morello, who used to start some of his solos with his bare hands.

Serch for Joe Morello: Take 5 Drum Solo and you'll see what I'm talking about.

  • @will335 Everybody steal something from someone in music... Like Angus Young stole the duck walk from Chuck Berry!

  • does anyone else feel like telling him to pause for air during that drum solo lol

  • Aldrich nailed the guitar solo dead on... :)

  • one of my favourites!!!!!!!kath loves it too..;-)

  • Tommy is king

  • This sounds amazing....reminds me of the Rio show in 85...I hope to age as well as Mr. Coverdale.

  • KICK f'n ASS!

  • when i crank this up in my car that amazing solo along with that intense drumming always gives me chills! Whitesnake is badass.

  • 3:30 can someone guess why his right hand is so fast?

  • DId appear to be a "natural" position....

  • i thik the best line up was with VAI and Vaderberg but...whatever WHITESNAKE IS STILL THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD.....

  • ..great band with great song..

    \m/

  • I've never seen him do that but I know john bonham did.

  • does anyone knows where they did this show¿? i´m looking foward to get it!

  • Concert is named "Whitesnake in the still of the night"

i have it on my Hdd

Send me PM if u want me to give u links for download..

  • David Coverdale + Tommy Aldridge = Legends & GODS!!!

    Rock forever...

  • David, you rock!!! No one does it like you!

    Love you Bay-Bee!!!!

  • coverdale's voice got sharper nowadays..

  • After he threw his drum sticks I was just waiting for him to detach his arms and start hittin it with his head...Sick

  • knowing Tommy Aldridge, it wouldnt stop him lol!

  • This drum solo reminds me of Peter Criss from the late 70's off 100,000 years. That song had a wicked solo in the middle and if you listen to them both, they sound really similar. This guy's style, visually, reminds me of the great Shannon Larkin.

  • to be honest, if you see them live you can appreciate them. they're real crowd pleasures as long as it's good. im a drummer aswell so i can appreciate them a little more :P

  • 7:30 is the most epic thing since well...3:02! GREAT song

  • this concenrt was awesome .. <3

  • the best drum solo ever

  • this is an awesome song with a awesome guitar solo

  • DUDE THAT IS A AWESUM DRUM SOLO

  • i hear ya man

  • doug aldrich rocks!!!

  • what concert is this?

  • Hammersmith Apollo "Whitesnake - Live - In The Still Of The Night" DVD

  • is whitesnake still togather

  • and yet blackmore is the only rock guitarist who improvises on stage...what do you say to that? (not counting jimi hendrix)

  • ha, well known fact that aldrich, even thought he's an amazing guitarist, probably is john sykes in a disguise!

  • you may be right, but you can't deny the influence of ritchie.

  • this song gives me rapid orgasms

  • it is sad no one wish to stay. Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach (here) are also considered to be among the "un-rateable" best.

  • Damn David Coverdale and Dough Aldrich kick ass together!

  • You crazy bastard because blather on the best

  • Where are Vandenberg, Sykes or Campbell ???

  • BUt Richie Blackmore is the best

  • Doug did this solo as well as John Sykes

  • This solo is insane and I love it!!!

  • Great Whitesnake, I need this DVD !

  • where´s steve vai? this ain´t steve vai

  • tolliaek, vai hasn't been in whitesnake since 1991

  • tommy aldridge is the ''father of double bass''

  • This Is bad ass I would like to know if this is the drummer that played Carry on my wayward son,Yngwie Malmsteen, version

  • the drummer is Tommy Aldridge, and he did play for yngwie for a little while

  • yes but in another tone :s

  • You know why you got the negative rating? You stepped on John Syke's shoes.

  • good good goood!!!!! who ?????just the only one, coverdale and his beautiful voice and his shine perfomance!!!!!!! fantastic version thanks cahsunshine !!!!!!

  • My god they are so amazing! I love the way they made the song! The drums are brilliant... BABY BAAAABYYYY

  • Cant stop watching this dvd brilliant.

  • i like this version better with 2 guitars than the original one with the keyboards

  • There is a keyboard player also in this version so you get the best of both worlds!

  • Dude Tommy is the one who make double bass famous.

  • He's better than he ever was :)

  • Aldridge has a good strike. He knows how to tune a freakin snare too, not too deep, but none of that thin '90s crap sound either.

  • Drummer drums with thin lizzy to he done 6 min drum solo and 3 of those mins with his hands AWSOME!!

  • drummer*

  • This video should be watched more than several milions times!! I've never seen such a dreamer. Guns N Roses, Van Halen drummers etc. can hide I mean they should have nothing to say.

  • Dude Alex Van Halen is just as good as TA and Matt Sorum aint too bad either.

  • Sorum is a great drummer, great technique, very clean and straight.

I love this one, who's this drummer? Love his style

  • tis the one and only legend tommy aldridge

  • Whether you like Whitesnake or not, this is musicianship at its very finest :) A night to cherish, indeedy!

  • its from 2004

  • awesome song! what year is this from?

  • awesome song!

  • dougy does john sykes proud

  • 2004 2005

  • Awesome!! Fantastic Drum Solo!!

  • I remember seeing this live at the Hammersmith Apollo. I couldn't believe my eyes seeing Tommy Aldrisge throwing his sticks into the crowd, then continuing his drum-solo with his hands. Some awesome guitar soloing from Doug Alsrich as well.

  • Holy F*CK now those guys are downright AWESOME!!!!! That drumsolo is done by hand, literally!!!!!

  • that les paul gives the song the power it needs... amazing, probably the best version of this song.

Tommy aldridge is like an octopus on drums.

    great

  • /nod @ buzz In my opinion...Best Song EVER!<3

  • Someone finaly put up a good version of the song thk god
