We opted not to put a Cummins in it due to the weight. Cummins are heavy and when in the mud, snow, or sand the sink too much in the front. With the V10 we put out about the same power as the Cummins, but with half the weight. Only benifit with a cummins would be gas milage.

@surfseller06 Oh I love Maxxis tires, but a little pricey especially when you have to buy six tires. Interco Tires sponsor us so we have run their SX, TSL, and these are the Irocs. The TSLs used to hook up better, these Irocs don't seem to grab. Several obstacles that were easy in the past with TSLs, and now more of a struggle with the Irocs.

We have had a lot of questions to the effect of, Is this one of the actual prototypes? No it is a clone that was build after they canceled the prototype project. A few prototypes were made, and this truck was sponsored by Dodge to help promote the label. After we were finished with this version We worked out a deal to purchase one of the real prototypes, but the price tag was $150K so we built a tow version to tow this one using thier design. It was white. Google it. 12 years still going

Silly question but does this have lockers between the axles and on the diffs as at 1:50 the 3rd axle wheel spins freely

@fujiuser1968 They have Detroit Lockers in each axle, and occasionally when there is not tension on the axle it will unspool.

Does it climb better than a regular Dodge 4x4? I searched for eagle's nest and I see some 4 cylinder import trucks that made it up without a winch, but couldn't find a Dodge for comparison.

@ldmcnutt Eagles nest is a tough obstacle and we have had bad luck with it. On the average we will climb up obstacles and inclines that most 4x4 can never make. We have even out climbed buggies in Hill climbs. He is a link to a climb that no other 4x4 could make. Goto: streetfire..net

Anyone who claims to be "hardcore rock crawler/off roader" really isnt if they dont know this guy by name yet. Not only was he a competitor in the TTC he is also a judge. He has been around, crawled on a ton of shit, and drank the mountain dew. I met him at EJS a few years ago and couldnt be a nicer guy. His personality is as exceptional as is his truck.

@nvidia4x4 Those are not Nitro tanks. Those are CO2 for filling tires, air tools etc...Do your research before you shoot your mouth off. Most off-roader know what power tanks are. They are full of CO2.

This truck never made it into production. the concept for it was scrapped when Chrysler sold out. I personally know the owner of this ride, and know what he went through to get it built. Also, if you look underneath it you will note that it was 2 1/2 ton Rockwell axles that got stripped from his Deuce and a half.
