Sure, the Domino is a great tool. I like to make stuff myself, including my tools and jigs, and coming up with an effective way to mortise on the router table was my goal. I don't do production work, so I'm not exactly concerned with speed. You should watch my pool table video #3, and you'll see how accurate and efficient my mortising setup really is.

is the hollow chisle mortise a sqaure chisle with a drill bit in the centre i have seen them in action they work well
