  • At first i thought this vid was gonna be a waste of time, but it was helpful in ingraining the parts of the process to my memory.

  • Thank u for uploading this :)... It's been great help for my own self revision! Is it possible to print off the powerpoint presentation to this?

  • Thanks so much. Bless you

  • Thanks for the video... do you mean Superior Vena Cava and Inferior Vena cava? for 7:58

  • @avaldez17buknoy

Yes he did mean Superior Vena Cava and Inferior Vena cavae. I caught that too and his slip up calling an atrium an aorta. Was a slip of the tongue. Despite what Freud said. lol

  • I sound very handsome

    iLike! =D five stars!

  • YOU sound very handsome lol

  • Thank you very much, very easy to understand. Do you think you could do the same kind of presentation for the respiratory system??

    Thanks again

  • Inferior vena cava... not posterior vena cava. fyi.

  • Hi tuoniz,

In humans the superior vena cava drains the top of the body. In other air breathing vertebrates this vein is referred to as the anterior vena cava.

The vein referred to as the inferior vena cava in humans drains the bottom of the body and is referred to as the posterior vena cava in other air breathing vertebrates.

I use the names anterior and posterior vena cava because I need my grade 12 biology class to recognize the names of each, in humans and in other vertebrates.

  • Thank you..really helpful..

  • Hey mate thanks for this, very easy to understand :)

  • very helpful

  • thanks its a good video i find it helpful great job sir

  • Thank you for this wonderful insight. With the option of letting morons post videos on YouTube, it's nice to know that I can still sift through the crap and find things like this that will help me to understand.

  • thank you for this video, very clearly explained and very helpful.

  • Neat, although I won't differ i´m more inclined to see it as major circulation, minor circulation, and a motor (heart) to pump both, instead of seeing it as three systems. but that's only names. nice work!

  • Thanks for all your videos. You were a great help.

  • this is a lovelt vedieo ... god bless you sir ! x

  • Excellent! very helpful, I am able to follow this with some background knowledge already, it's really perfect for reinforcing what I vaguely know.

  • THANK YOU

  • This is REALLY good. I just wish the picture was easier to see.

  • I think it is superior(top) and inferior(bottom) Vena cava, not anterior(front) or posterior(back) vena cava

  • Hi Bledar11,

In humans the superior vena cava drains the top of the body. In other air breathing vertebrates this vein is referred to as the anterior vena cava.

The vein referred to as the inferior vena cava in humans drains the bottom of the body and is referred to as the posterior vena cava in other air breathing vertebrates.

I use the names anterior and posterior vena cava because I need my grade 12 biology class to recognize the names of each, in humans and in other vertebrates.
