ok, thanks! Gene MacDonald's singing is why i wasnt sure. I saw other basses chiming in, and I have never heard Bill sing before i watched this video.
Does anyone know where I can get the version of this song that was on the Passin' the faith along album with Bill and Gary McSpadden and Jon Mohr and Steve Green?
I love a few of the songs on that album and would like to buy it again.
I dunno...I'd put Gene in the same category as the two that you mentioned...I have the solo cd that Gene made, and he get's CRAZY low on it! F below low C, on one spot! But still, MUCH respect for George and JD.
amazing unity, beautiful harmony, AWESOME God ~ 5*s, i♥it!!
†"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him" Hebrews 11:1,3,6
he has been the bass for the oakridge boys for years. i can't believe i forgot his name. tim duncun i believe? if i'm wrong someone feel free to correct me
Do you perhaps mean Richard Sterban??? Tim Duncan sings with Ernie Haase and Signature Sound. But I know that Richard Sterban has sang with the Oakridge Boys for a long time and now that you meantion them, he looks like Richard Just a little older than I know him.
Well, it was Guy's turn to sing "We are" at that moment, so the bass couldn't be heard. But you're right...I'm not sure why they used the camera shot.
great video! question: the 3rd time the one gentleman goes to do a slide (the one right after a 2nd gentleman does one) the camera goes to him, but we dont hear anything? a Gaither video error? lol
I was thinking the same, but I'd think they'd completely take out that shot. amazing though, to see them allow an error to get to video. lol. thanks :)
wonderful song loved it very much! they sing so good together, all of their songs touched me, thanks for putting these on so we are able to listin to them!!
My daddy sang Bass, but there's something within me makes me love tenors the most...
