  • Man im so glad Scratch live doesnt have auto stink. Anyone who uses auto sync has no business behind the decks.

  • can i use virtual djs w/o any gear? that is only through my computer?

  • sorry, but I think that mix sounded pretty bad myself, but good try....I know it can be tough to mix with just a mouse...I've been workin at it and can do it pretty good now, but I would advise you to get a midi controller that controls the program. Gemini and Numark make some pretty good ones for cheap and the feel is great. I use Kontrol s4 and I love it....keep practicing though bro!

  • hwy which is that skin which you used

  • I've a track that I know is 126bpm yet virtual dj's bpm counter displays it as 109. hmm. (the track is tong & spoon - muchness (original mix)

  • previous made song get more effort, this shiit on this video you can play easy on Virtual DJ, GET PRO !! my shiit sounds much better, DOESN'T MATTER WHAT STYLE U LIKE

    thankz

  • hey bro you play at any clubs?

  • @DJBease88 I do. Currently resident Friday at a club in seattle and then go to Vancouver B.C. once a month or so..

  • @djtriple9 i live in vancouver

  • why is always one of my red or blue side when i line them up then one of them go out of line

  • All you gotta do is change the anchors of the song (the little squares) then the sync feature will work. VDJ measures the complete song from start to finish, so it takes into account dead air before and after the song, which can equal incorrect bpm's as well.

  • dj scotttty boyyyyyy :))) i gave that guy a high fiveee wooo

  • dj scottty boyyyy man i gave that a guy a high fiveee :))))))

  • COOO TRIPLE 9!! THANKS FOR THE TIP!

  • nice vid bro jus a quick q hav u ver tried mixing dubstep with hip hop goes really well

  • ive only just started using virtual dj , and i have no i dea how to use it tbh, i really want to learn how , i dont think it goes well if everyday songs , iv got no dj music to mix any tips , i really want to start using it and become better :)

  • start out with what you have, rip some songs from your CD collection or buy some on itunes. use your keyboard to learn the basics. follow the keyboard layout on the web site. you'll use the space bar the most as it starts and stop songs you'll have to use your mouse to push the songs in the signal bar unless you have a controller. go to the vdj forum and look in the basics section, lost of good info.

  • @djtriple9 thank you :) !

  • @djtriple9 im a beginner dj well i alredy knoe how to use virtual dj but i hav trouble mixing like i dont knoe wat other songs to use nd i dont knoe how to mix

  • Laptop makes life easier to mix, try to mix with cd only and lets see how u do lol, I use laptop too but i started with cd's and get an exactly bpm of both songs is hard, try that and good luck. COol Video Btw

  • @gian1491 : Ibeen using vinyl since 96. PC DJ was worthless. matching BPM's is truly and art and should be conquered to appreciate DJing, but after you learn it, there is nothing wrong with taking advantage of technology.

  • what up dj triple9.. i wanted to know where can i get this skin . besides the vdj site . Turntablist variations v5.2

any site i can download it for free .thnx keep it rockin .

  • so basically;

    use sync for synchronising BPM

don't rely on sync when mixing songs together

  • that is a good rule of thumb. It can get you close, but always use your ear to judge, that's why you have headphones :)

  • what type of skin is this?

  • Your vid didn't tell me anything new, but you did fine helping newbies gettinger closer to the stuff...

nevertheless i think if any guy does not get it at the first try, he won't have anything called a DJ career...

  • Not exactly sure what you mean by your comment. this was shot at the newbies. Over here a lot of us do a great deal of crossover, that is to say we aren't straight hiphop, techno, or house, but a mix up of everything, Knowing that you have to know how certain music mixes together. I assume that like me, most DJ's practice that and learn what flows together and what doesn't. Very few get the mix on the first shot unless they've been practicing.

  • Oh, I think you got me wrong. I like your video :-)

It's great to see DJs like you helping new DJs to become better.

But I do also think that only a few will make it. And even the best tutorial in the world would not help them ;)

Cause actually there are only few DJs who r really good...

  • No worries. Wasn't sure which way you were going, but I'm glad you liked it. Agreed, guy like Tiesto and Mraz are a rarity, and honestly some people just don't have the rhythm or understanding for it. The best DJ's are true artists, and understand the music they play and use it as an extension of their expression, the same as any good musician would. very few DJ's apply this, and this is why so many DJ's don't make it.

  • THANKS FOR THIS INFO, HOPE TO SEE MORE

  • cool thanx

  • Good Tut, what skin is that?

  • turntablist variation by listen2. It's on the VDJ skin page.
