I've been a Neph fan for about 4 years now - being 20 and missing their 'heyday' is as unfortunate as missing the Sisters, the Mission and others to name a few - I used to get bemused looks at school when I discussed Carl McCoy's lyrics, Andrew Eldritch's politics or Wayne Hussey's guitar style at lunchtime. It doesn't matter how many times I listen to 'Moonchild', it still amazes me; that haunting opening before the belucose head-bashing guitar break - powerful yet beautiful at the same time!
