I know you said for the first 2 1/2 months they slept in y'alls room. I was wondering did you put them both in one bed or bassinet or seperate? I have 2 cribs for mine, but I was thinking of keeping them in my room for a while being they'll be so small and I'll want to get to them often as I'll need to. But I plan on seperating them in their cribs. Just wondering if you put them in 1 bed then in 2 and was it hard to seperate them after? Thanks :)
@LeavingForVenus For the first 2.5 months they slept in a co-sleeper together! After that, they went in their own cribs separately and have been that way since then. It wasn't hard to separate them in my eyes because the two of them are SUCH different personalities lol.
@SARAH25PCOS Awesome, that sounds like what I plan to do. From the start I knew I wanted them in seperate cribs but I know in the early beginning I'll have to put them together in my room :) Thanks for the reply.
I'm 3 months with twins, and I plan on going back to work after the 6-8 weeks are up and my mother in law will be watching them. I plan to get a schedule going as best as I can before I start bringing them to her, I just hope that she can stick with my schedule to make it work out.
My first son slept on his belly too, its the only way we could sleep. Then woke up early in the morning picked him up and cuddled with him on my chest. My third baby is one month and also sleeps on his belly but only sometimes, thank you for sharing you're an amazing mommy!
our girls just turned 4 months old and sleep pretty well through the night. your schedule is awesome. I actually have a similar schedule for bed time.
OMG I love you!!! Your Real and say how it is! My twin boys are 8wks old and you give me hope that things WILL get better lol! Atm I am getting about 6-7hrs of broken sleep a night and I am just holding in there :( So cant wiat till sleep 8+hrs a night :)
Love ur vids btw! I am 16 weeks pregnant with twins and am always craving knowledge. What are ur thoughts on sharing a crib? (when u r ready for them to go to crib)
@mleclerc27 Aw I'm 14 weeks pregnant with twins. Isn't this channel a Godsend!?! When I found it I watched every one of her vids in one sitting. You gotta love someone who keeps it real with you on a topic such as this. :) Good luck on your pregnancy!
Heaps of my friends put their babies to sleep on their bellies, I think it soothed them. At first it FREAKED me out but its worked for so many people. My son hated sleeping on his belly. 10-11 hours is AMAZING that's so great!
I think once you can establish a bedtime routine, whether you have twins or not. Everthing will fall in to place and suddenly it gets a bit easier. I don't have twins but I do have a 8year old a 5 year old and a 1 year old and I always have bedtime.....Mommy needs her downtime.....
I also have twins, and totally agree with you! It's all about the routine. We had our twins in their cribs at 14 weeks, in their own room. It's hard at first, but I also think it's the best thing for them & the parents. I nursed my twins until 13 months, so they didn't start sleeping through the night until 9 months. It was mostly my son who was still getting up in the night, so we finally had to just let him cry it out a few nights. So hard, but I'm glad we did it! They are both great sleepers!
kudos to you lady! You are amazing
