I think most of us don't realize or forget that Jesus (Yeshua) didn't have to do what He did. He did it because it was His Father's will and He was completely obedient. That is how much He loves us. Remember when He is in the Garden of Gethsame and prays that the cup would be taken from Him? Or that He was extremely sorrowful that death was upon Him? When you find yourself doubting remember Him and know that He knows EXACTLY what you are going through. Talk to Him from the heart and trust Him.

That is EXACTLY how I feel most of the time. When you reflect as much as I do on all of the sins and shortcomings and constant failings of yourself, it's difficult to understand the bottomless pool that is God's mercy.

The first Jars CD was their best from beginning to end, in my opinion. Actually, my opinion is that their first CD was the very best debut CD to be produced by any Christian band. Worlds Apart is the best song on this fabulous project. THis CD is at least 10 years old and I still listen to it when many others are collecting dust.

I had/have the same problem. Holding on to anger and not forgiving... I had a "God moment" a couple days ago where I finally GOT how God knew what His Son was going to suffer but He still allowed Him to come to this earth for our sins and does not hold them against us even though they cost His only Son His life. So I just pray that I can have that same grace... as a human I can't comprehend it on my own so I just want God to fill me with HIS mercy.

The debut of Jars was the best set of songs on one project ever produced by a Christian band. They are not necessarily the best christian band ever, but this work from the first to the last song was outstanding. My opinion is that Whiteheart from the 80's to this day is the best Christian band ever. However, the debut work of Jars has not been matched to this day.
I remember when i was about 16 and i bout this album in 96. I listened to this song back then and then i went back a few weeks ago listened to it again and now realize how powerful this song is.

WEIRD, exact same thing happened to me today! I listened to the song so much when I was younger that I know all the words, yet I had no idea what I was singing. They just sang it in church today and I was sobbing because I finally understood what the song was saying. Amazing.

my friednd and i were talking about this only a few hours ago. I am having a hard time with it and some unforgiveness has turned bitter and it makes it even harder. but i love God and want to be what He wants so im going to choose to love even though i dont feel that way. for what i lack i will pray my way to it. hope that helps

I had/have the same problem. Holding on to anger and not forgiving... I had a "God moment" a couple days ago where I finally GOT how God knew what His Son was going to suffer but He still allowed Him to come to this earth for our sins and does not hold them against us even though they cost His only Son His life. So I just pray that I can have that same grace... as a human I can't comprehend it on my own so I just want God to fill me with HIS mercy.

he wasnt a god, he was son of Daedalus (sp?). they were both trapped in a tower, he made wings out of wax, and Icarus flew too close to Helios (sun god)

It's a reference to the myth Daedalus and Icarus. Icarus is given a pair of wings made of feathers and wax by his father Daedalus in order to escape exile on an island. His dad tells him not to fly too close to the sun, since it wouldelt the wax on the wings and cause him to crash into the ocean. Icarus gets so excited when he's flying though, that he forgets the warning and flies to close to the sun. It

this song... i love it but at the same time i can't listen to it around others. it reminds me how weak i am, how much i've failed, how insufficient i can be... and it breaks me every single time. i almost never cry but this song brings up what i can't escape as the truth. i'm told i do so much for people and all but still i can't help but think i'm never good enough for anything, for anyone... that there's always better. always stronger... Everything that i'm not.

I know what you mean, but I guess it's ultimately what Jesus has done that counts... yes we can always be better, stronger etc but Jesus didn't come to save perfect people, but the weak, insufficient people who realise their need of Him... although it can be easy to lose sight of that sometimes. hope this helps.

The debut of Jars was the best set of songs on one project ever produced by a Christian band. They are not necessarily the best christian band ever, but this work from the first to the last song was outstanding. My opinion is that Whiteheart from the 80's to this day is the best Christian band ever. However, the debut work of Jars has not been matched to this day.

I remember when i was about 16 and i bout this album in 96. I listened to this song back then and then i went back a few weeks ago listened to it again and now realize how powerful this song is.

WEIRD, exact same thing happened to me today! I listened to the song so much when I was younger that I know all the words, yet I had no idea what I was singing. They just sang it in church today and I was sobbing because I finally understood what the song was saying. Amazing.
