  • Saw him live - Billy Cobham - incredibly. Shot the cymbals from under and above... reallly impressive... great!

  • dear Lord, this is amazing

  • So I want go to " HEAVEN "

  • Just amazing!

  • like the tutu reference from the bass player at 3:20

  • WTF ? i though my radio and my TV learnt me music.

    i was wrong .

    WTF ??!!

  • I heard les in Chicago 2 years ago, and he cut "compared to what" every bit as strong as 30 years before!

  • One of the things I like most about Billy is the crispiness and cleanliness, if you will, of his playing. No matter how simple or complex a beat, or a fill he's playing, you can practically hear every note, every stroke of his sticks and bass pedal, every touch on his hi-hat and swish on his cymbals. Truly, truly, truly an amazing drummer.

  • You mean a good recording engineer perhaps?

  • a musical orgasm

  • @Ricky0001 an eargasm

  • @4hm35319hd0h5 yeah , eargasm exactly

  • ¡COÑO!

    Pura CABILLA!!

He´s really getting on a bit here but in his day he was a real Don on the keyboards. If you haven´t heard "compared toi what" its worth a listen

  • yeah i have, but ill definitely check that song out thanks a lot. the screams when he scats at 4:20 and 5:23 are awesome haha

  • Uups at 0:40 couple beats too early :D

  • This is music.

  • E ainda tem gente que não gosta...inacreditavel!!!

  • yeah these 64th notes are played with a feeling, i cant undersand this.

  • only the best can perform with these greats!!....there all truely the best examples of great musical tallent and skills!!!

  • this is music at it's best... not only the sounds and silences, but the companionship and the spirit!

    this ROCKS

  • Instead of criticism, I advocate APPRECIATION for ALL OF THESE MUSICIANS. Thanks for posting this video, a good rendition to Billy and the other masters on that gig...

by the way, the bassist is German, Stefan Rademacher... a monster and an idol of mine...

  • Mandó la gran chick corea al final

  • Stefan Rademacher

German Bassist - and teacher on several music universities in Germany :)

  • Hi all,

Mr. Duke has given us a special treat.

Lookup Les McCann's "Sometimes I Cry" on YouTube.

Sit back and learn Les. Then come back here, after considering that he did "...Cry" in 1975.

Listen to his chords and hear his genius. He is an icon for my generation.

  • Billy is so amazing!!!!

Everytime i see a video of him playing, though i had seen it many times, there's always something magic and i can't do anything else than watching him playing and listen his awesome sound and groove!!!!

  • billy never ceases to amaze me he s the reason I play drums all the new cats have all these chops goin off which is great but somehow dont have that cobham style or uniqueness he s quite simply the best 4 me.

  • great music i laught my pants of whith that guy with the vocal piece 3.50 <-- but it was a great preformance

  • Man, you're talking about Les McCann... That guy is a legend

  • What? That's Les McCann, man.

Les is a legend of modern jazz. Do you hear the chords he plays on this?

    That's Les McCann, man.

  • Please, this great music from another time and artistry.Just enjoy and learn if you please.

  • Sick sax solo!

  • Waow Gonzalo rubalcaba is the BEST !!!

  • God!What a Feeling!This Rocks! Jazz-Rocks!!

  • GREAT VIDEO !!!

  • keith anderson is the truth!!!!

  • No doubt about that ! What a bad bad cat !

  • Billy Cobham's not so far away from the truth :D

  • Yes he was good, but now, he is not good anymore...

  • do you know if theres any bands he consistantly plays for? Besides Marcus Miller i mean, i've been looking but am having trouble finding any

  • RH factor too, I think...

  • Nope. Doesn't play with RH Factor anymore. He plays consistantly w/ Marcus, and besides that, he only own his "Full Of Soul" band with Bobby Sparks and JT. I'm expecting to hear more new things from him soon.

  • again sip51:thanx for the post!!!!!!that`s fusionhistory
