This is not a big deal, apple now uses lithium polymer and not the lithium ion battery. They have more juice but are weaker. And less cycles.
And secondly, apple doesn't make battery's at all !! They just buy them from a factory in china. Anyone can do that. Those battery's just cost more...
Lithium polymer is also more dangerous than normal lithium battery's, they catch fire more easily.
