  • Hi, these tests were done with glasses that don't have factory-applied antifog coatings. If your factory coating is working for you, great! But many people tell us they use Defog It when the factory stuff quits working or when harsh environments (heat, cold, exertion) overwhelm their permanent coating. Defog It is safe for ALL lenses, won't hurt ANY coatings. Nanofilm, maker of Defog It, has been a global optical coatings maker for 20 years for, so you can trust that it's safe.

  • I have eyewear that has a factory applied anti-fog coating, when they start to fog it looks like none of the sample you tested. This leads me to believe that the samples tested have no factory anti-fog coating. My concern is wether your product will harm my glasses since they already have a coating.
