  • Not sure it like's you putting hands on him, oh and recent findings show that they in fact DO have venom as well as bacteria built up from its diet.

  • Your having fun now but wait when that thing bites your ass you won't be laughing then, the interaction is not necessary, it appears you're just showing off, its a wild animal & unpredictable leave it alone dumb ass..

  • In captivity, these animals are fed fresh rodents raised in a clean environment and therefore not nearly as infectious when it comes to bacteria. Generally speaking, though a Komodo bite can be very serious, quick medical attention with modern drugs usually results in a full recovery.

  • Komodos in the wild tend to have more dangerous bites because their wild diet often consists of dead and decaying animals which themselves produce strong bacteria and when combined with the existing bacteria in the Komodos mouth make for a very serious bite.

  • Komodo dragons are not venomous in the sense that they do not have venom glands that produce venom. However, they do have extremely septic bites because their saliva can host many very powerful bacteria that can lead to serious infection, and sometimes death if not treated.

  • are there bites not poisionious? i mean i kow these are tame for the most part but what if they bite someone,?is it treatable?
