24p with a cheap point and shoot -- canon a1200

Why is its playback mode too fast? It goes from 5x, 10x and 20x. Can I change it to the normal speed? And I wonder why there is no sound.

@rawdogg you can just use the blur effect in post. you can't shoot miniature without the fast forward effect.

to date this is my favorite film making gear, with a 10 dollar slider i made, and a 126 led lamp. everything fits in a latop backpack, lol.

That's incredible! just have to decide between that one and the a2200. can't tell a real big difference.

@magicianandyoyoer well, technically the a2200 can do 30 fps. if you want some semblance of 24p then go for the a1200 :)

@Meritis i think that might be asking for too much :D no, if you want better sound fr this you'd have to se a separate recorder. a zoom h1 perhaps.
