I don't think they were really trying to sit down as much as they were trying to rest in the best way they could without getting out of the cosplay.

From what I remember, the girl part was taking some of her weight off the guy's back by supporting her feet on the chair. The guy was really tired (I imagine) from walking hunched over with the weight of an entire person on his back.

@sharkladyindisguise Yes, that's how I found out what the heck that thing was! :lol: I've never played ANY Silent Hill game before at all (I like cute RPG's instead of scary games), but that's where people were saying the monster was from.

Even though I never saw it or even heard of it before, I recognized it as soon as I saw the picture of it--that just goes to show how good of a costume it is.

its clever how all the demons have some sort of meaning, thats what makes silent hill a work of art, from what i hear, how the demons of the town came to be is becouse the town itself created them, there manifestations created for the main charecters (victom of the town) Each charecter has there of personal demons for each complex emotional and memorie that burdens the charecters, the town takes advantage of that pain and gives it life,

I'm not a cosplayer, but I really think that this deserved more than a round of applause. It's a great interpretation of the monster, true to design- which has to be quite uncomfortable- and is a living work of art.

But when it comes to artistic things like this, I hate the immature comments like the one about "the boys will be staring", etc. These people are putting themselves on gruesome display and it's absolutely badass. They deserve nothing less than praise.

As a cosplayer *and* an artist (and the one who made that comment), I attest that the comment was made in good humor; this cosplay is truly a work of art, but my statement is no less true because of it. Guys will stare.

Cosplay aside, had that been any other crotch/panty shot, I would have made the same comment.

...and even artists should be able to have enough humor to laugh at the expense of their own art. If you take everything about it too seriously, it kills the fun in it.

I was with three guys in that room at the time, and frankly, I heard no complaints XD.

And she's wearing underwear, which can be plainly seen if you take your eyes off her crotch (crotch, not vagina, since she's covered) for a moment. She's showing no more than would a bikini.

More people were amazed at the insanity and ingenuity of the total costume than aware of that particular aspect of it, and I was really more amazed by her shoes, lol. They are awesome!
