Testing you to see if you're willing to work in an abusive environment? You'd have to be really desperate to play along with this kind of mentality. I would never encounter someone like this without using media exposure to illuminate their bad practices.
If someone asks questions like that in an interview they should be sued for discrimination. The first question was clearly phrased around gender. Of course suing probably wouldn't be effective, but at least a solicitors letter to warn them not to do it again to someone else.
