  • Good video. Couldn't agree more.

  • What's up with his painted fingernail?

  • This is why I like Penn.

  • I respect you and understand where your coming from. But if you wanted to know if there was a God you could. Not just by reading the bible. But studying phisics. Studying other religions. Looking up the finger print of God. If you seek God you will find him, Oh, and the new astrology i have found to be a great faith builder. But try praying and asking God to reviel himself to you. Its easy, it just takes a desire to know for sure. Something we should all want to know before that last day

  • This was a nice video. I'm a Christian, and while yes many Christians are hostile toward atheists (and unjustly so I might add), as long as atheists treat us with respect your average Christian will treat atheists with as much respect simply on a human level. Disagreement on ideas is natural but so is respect on a human level.

For Christians who do get upset with respectable atheists, I ask you why? The Bible instructs us not to hate, but to show people Christianity through our love

  • Ditto

  • The dark ages should have been enough to realise where Religion gets us.

  • Cleveland ? Will it get us to Cleveland ?

  • I may be mistaken, but nobody ever thought enough to celebrate the birth of the greatest false prophet of hate ever born.

Here's a phrase that you'll never hear, "merry is(la)mus"... wonder why?

  • He wanted. I don't blame atheist for not liking religion, I don't either. But to say Jesus has not changed history more than any other person to walk the earth is foolish. Jesus is who He said He was. For any atheists out there, I am sorry Christians have offended you.

  • Jesus is not a religion. Man has made religions over the years that have really hurt a lot of people in the name of good. Jesus is a man that came to give an alternative to the world, not to bring religion. Thats probably the last thing

  • I saw that too. I watch not much more than the history channel. It has remarkable subject matter, pertinent information by a non-biased team of broadcasters. It's significant for the times we're in.

  • Watched a person go through an exorcism. Not too many people want to witness that. On History channel of all things... claimed to be true. Pretty enlightening yet confirming. I think many things are coming to fruition that many adversaries don't want to own up to.

  • A fledgling atheist? What exactly is that but learning a new form of belief system and that is really the foundation of forming yet another religion.

    A fledgling atheist, really.

  • Penn is a hell of a class act. As a fledgling atheist, I find his perspective on this insightful and humbling. You go Penn!

  • ...but I can't deny that some people, after converting to a religion, have improved their lives, outlook, and/or behavior, and in turn the world. Like I said, I don't think that religion is necessary, but I've encountered people who turn their lives around thanks to religion.

However, I think that a belief system would be more effective than any religion could be, because details won't be uselessly debated, and the main and only focus will be on virtues.

  • I believe the church is shunned more than the belief system itself. Sure, a Christian's belief may seem logically fallible, but the kicker is the obscenities many church representatives and/or members have committed. I believe this is what would turn someone from a religion rather than the belief system, for if a person were to experience the system itself without the typical congregation factor, one may experience a totally different result in lieu of their norm. Religion kills. Jesus saves.

  • I agree with you up until the last two remarks. Thanks for the good reply.

  • I'd be surprised if you read this Penn, but I'd just like to comment on one of your last remarks:

I use to believe that religion was and will always be useless, in that it could never benefit the world. The only thing I use to see that religion made was wars and violence. However, I do believe that religion does help the world in one way: It gives people hope/faith. Personally. I don't think one needs a tangible or nameable thing (God) to pray to in order to believe or have faith, but...

  • Tears- thank you again for the stronghold that continues. Too many strikes against what is the truth- as long as that remains you have all prayers and backup, you know that right?

Still here and holding on to what is right....

High fives to our precious Lord and Savior. Take care.

  • Jesus is the light of the world, and doubt and unbelief are what rules in darkness.

  • Penn is right! We are the silent minority. But someday our voices will be heard. Quit believing in the fairy tales from the dark ages.

  • I think that Zbeth is a completely made up persona, sorry.

But, Christians have been putting on those masks of disguise for as long as I've been going to church, to keep up an image of something, I'm not even sure why.

Trouble comes to us all, but I have found that by having faith and the tangible presence of God in my life, who is the Holy Spirit, I have peace in the storms and madness of life.

He helps me through all of the rough places, the agonies of life. I trust him, he is with me.

  • How am I causing harm? I get to love on hurting people with food, time, money, prayers & transportation to health care & more. My church family parties together often because we enjoy each others company at bonfires, darts, pool, shooting, camping, videos, conserts & more...We bare one another's burdens. I even enjoy an awesome marriage of 18yrs. Dude, this side of heaven, it doesn't get any better than that. By the way, Jesus loves you. Why is that so impossible to believe? Prayin' 4 you.

  • Hey penn, I respect your candor. I just wonder what you thing Christians are missing? I get freedom from the bondage of sinful choices & the payment for such. Jesus paid the price for us all. I willingly recieve His gift of love. I dance, cycle, camp, travel, & more...I too am a fan of the TV show, "House".

    (continues next post). ..

  • Wow, PENN.

Awesome vid. Thanks for these kinds of videos. I will keep you in prayer, my friend.

I know you say you there is no God but I am believing that He will show you things you have not seen before. All in Jesus name.

I love you, brother. I am praying for you and all other atheists out there. Thanks for the respect. God Bless.

  • I do believe that is the first time i have ever heard an atheist's opinion that i could respect. Alot of what i encounter with atheists is mostly mockery or even degradation. it's a shame that those that feel they are intellectually superior and point out all the wrong doings of religion through out the ages cannot correct their own short comings and judgments of others . I enjoy the think tank of ideas that we share in our society i just hope it will stay more civilized than Un. lol

  • No problem Penn, that's what it's all about. You could show your appreciation by maybe pulling a few punches next time you do a Bible-related show though, huh? I never miss an episode!

  • Love ya, Penn!!!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!

  • Your perspective of atheism is honorable. Most atheists refute ideas and mere opinions of Christianity.

You seem uneasy when you say out loud that you are an atheist. How does religion ruin civilization?

Wouldn't you agree that religious people, at least those who attend church, are more active and law-abiding citizens than those who spend their Sundays reading the NY Times?

I pray that you will one day feel the joy of admitting your sins and feel the joy in recognizing God.

  • Im 14 Years Old And I've Finaly Met someone who has the same Thoughts As I do Thanks Alot Penn!

  • 1) Friday

    2) Saturday

    3) Sunday

He appeared to as many as 500 people at a time, in one place and not all of them were believers. That's how the greatest empire, the greatest world power ever converted to Christianity. Their guards were posted at the grave site, history, fact... the man rose from the dead, no mirrors, no camera tricks... fact.

Fact. Thursday October 29, 2009 AD, (the year of our Lord. Jesus Christ. At least learn to count to three before you argue... 'kay?

  • Jesus didnt speak latin nor greek. Neither did his 12 friends. Jesus died on a Friday and came back on a Sunday how is that 3 days in the tomb? People need to think about what they believe in, the Bible was written more than 100 years after the death of Christ. Paul was the head of a Roman execution squad and everyone loves him. But if a thief who just got out of prison asked you for a job you would judge him by his back ground and not hire him HYPOCRITES its your tax dollars .

  • dd090304,

While I commend your zeal, bringing an atheist old testament judgment, instead of simply the new covenant of salvation by grace is really not helping them to understand that God loves them, and would very much like to see them saved.

You started off well, and then brought the wrath of his judgment right beind it?

You did well in saying that the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us being saved and having been saved, it is the power of God.

  • Now, with that being said, let's explain Paul maybe they will understand better the context.

Paul was speaking to believers, not those outside of the household of faith.

Paul was in fact a Jew, an orthodox Jew. He HATED the church, or Christians, the first century church. He killed them at every opportunity, dragged them out into the streets to beat them, he held the coats of the men that martyred the first 'Christian', Steven, they stoned him for his faith. Paul, he was converted, radically.

  • Paul met the risen savior on the road to Damascus and was radically converted. He then went on to write two thirds of the New Testament and eventually was imprisoned for preaching his faith where he wrote most of what is written and eventually paid the price for his faith with his life.

What he originally condemned as a lie or heresy, he regarded so highly in the end that he endured the hardest life documented in the book, willing to die to prove that Jesus was in fact, the Lord of his life.

  • for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is forever praised. Amen.

  • "The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

  • I hate to say it Penn, but you're the exception and not the rule. Most atheists are disrespectful, mean, and overtly look down on Christians. You are happy to live and let live, but so often we see atheist organizations filing lawsuits and doing other things like that under the guise of being offended when what they're really doing is simply being antagonistic. Perhaps you should do a PennSays on atheists getting a life and letting believers practice their faith without being harassed.

  • This is just becoming silly. I'm a Christian and I personally don't like that they wear crosses.

If he had been guillotined, axed like John the baptist, sent to the chair, hung, or burned at the stake, would they make little icons of those things and wear them on their necks and ears?

There are a lot of things wrong done in the spirit of religion that are not right and they've brought a reproach to who God is, how much He loves us and why Jesus came to saves us from our own depravity.

  • Penn, no biggie man, the Bible was written for believers so I wouldn't expect you to believe it.

as you are a non-believer. If a true Bible believing truly regenerated Christian is wrong and dies, what does He have to lose according to your belief? nothing, right? But if you are wrong according to The Bible itself, not what Christians say or think but just the word of God alone, then what do you have to lose?our vision of the afterlife is based on our perception of our current life

    Love you,

  • I guess you'd better join ALL the religions in case one of THEM is right. As for me and other atheists, we gain the pleasure of a life well-lived for its own sake, free from fear of punishment or hope for approval by some god.

  • That comment was @ dd090304 but didn't post in the right place. *sigh*

  • Pascal's Wager, eh buddy?

  • not quite, I know who God is and what He has done for me, the only one running the gambit are the unbelieving one's.

Pascal was attemting to use reason

    I have faith

    1Cor 1:18

for the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

  • I have a friend kinda like Penn. Not so much a bad guy when you get down to the meaty center.

  • why the hell do atheist want everyone to know that their atheist, its like hi my name is earl and i'm an atheist would you like to be friends. almost 2/3 ppl i've met that are atheist told me they were on the first day, wats up with that. if you do not believe in anything keep it to ur effing self and stop insulting other religions. their not effing insulting u.

  • If they weren't saying anything negative about other religions then they're not insulting them, they're just presenting themselves. Just "being" an athiest is not an attack, so there shouldn't be any reason anyone has to keep queit about it, yanno?

  • why do christians where crosses? to show what they believe. and saying i don't believe in a god is not an insult its a statement.

  • Good question, but, his answers to prayer are for those that believe and according to a perfect will, or system.

If say, you were some guy walking down the street in front of a Ferrari dealership and said out loud, gee I wish I had a red Ferrari, how likely is it that the owner of the dealership will hear you say that to yourself and run outside to hand you the keys for one?

God is good to his kids, I can testify to that. But, I don't drive a Ferrari.

I could have been dead, but I'm not.

  • You might be a good atheist but I believe you would be an awesome Christian.

  • How should I say this?

12 men were willing to die for their faith, within their lifetimes of when Jesus died, and rose again is a proof. Two, he appeared to crowds of as many as 500 at once.

Three, his mother stood by and watched him torn to shreds and beat almost to death and then nailed to a tree, and said nothing? Because she made it all up? Would your mother do that?

I don't know any Jewish mother that would stand by and not say something to save her son from certain death.

  • Thank God we live in a country where Penn has the chance to choose to be an athiest and i have the chance to be a Christian.

  • Hi Penn,

The only problem I have with Atheists is that they claim knowledge of something, as the way I see it, they have no business having knowledge of.

I have not been shown proof of God, however, I have not been shown proof that there is none.

    Why claim knowledge of such.

Why waste energy believing in something you don't know.

I believe it is a control issue.

    Any Takers?

  • Hein1 - Atheism isn't about what one knows, but about what one believes (or does not believe, in this case). An honest and thoughtful atheist doesn't say "there is no God" as much as he says "I do not believe in God," or even "I believe there is no God".

  • God is NOT Santa Claus.

  • Let's see, how shall I put this. Go outside jump in a lake, swim around out of your natural environment until you evolve into a fish. It could happen, in your dreams.

Science can't actually build an organic 'anything' that doesn't take from what God has already created, something with a biological function. Thereby, science proves a creator, and validates creation as being made by something of higher power.

Build me a trout, or step off.

  • This is what I love about God, he doesn't need me to fight his battles, or prove him to you. It's personal. He wants to have a personal relationship with people restored.

I don't know about you, but if someone doesn't like me, or hates me, or couldn't care less if I existed or didn't... I wouldn't show up unless they decided to at least consider me as someone worth knowing.

Who invites their enemies for dinner and drinks? Who goes on a date with someone who hates them? Not too smart huh?

  • Didn't Jesus supposedly say "Love your enemies"? How can you do that if you're always avoiding them?

  • Well, your disbelief does not nullify Gods existence.

    Sorry.

  • A cocky zinger? That's all that you have?

    Come on.

God almighty is the One that proves Himself. I don't have to prove Him. You unprove him.

You've been challenged. A cheesy zinger ain't proof.

  • you unprove him you postulated his existence

  • I believe that denying that there is no God and no divine order to the creation of the universe and all that is in it, is like a fish denying that there is no water.

I challenge you to prove to me that there is no God, now that I know that He is.

  • Your double-negatives make your post confusing, to say the least. Work on your syntax...

  • I do like this, and I do agree with most of it. But, asking an Atheist to be respectful is like asking a victim of brutality to refrain from testifying in court against his/her assailants. People need to be called out on their BS lest they become convinced that their BS is acceptable; and then the same said BS becomes repeatable. The buck has to stop somewhere, and it seems to me that it should stop squarely in the court of the people who claim that it isn't BS. Responsibility is a bitch, enjoy.

  • I think alot of atheists get flak because of the way they act about things. You are much different perhaps more intelligent anyway, your opinions are great. Im gonna try and stop at about 8 vids today.

  • There was that one man. Who even if Penn denies it, effected him in the sense that he saw who a true Christian man was.THINK, if each of us as TRUE Christians, believed and FOLLOWED what Christ presented was right. We would have a warless world, an nonexistent divorce rate, pure Love for one another and RESPECT.

I LOVE Penn for the fact that he presents me with questions in my life to better my self, as a Christian.Remember there is no such thing as Atheism, You believe in something.

  • Every now and then, I check on how these poor souls are doing and I realize you are still there, trying to get them to see so that their eternity is not damned. Gotta hand it to you and all those who continue to get the message out. Keep going and know the faith and strength is behind you- thanks for standing in the gap.... in light of all the flack that is given.

  • Are you out of your mind? Come on. If you're a believer in the spiritual forces of good and evil then why would you open someone up to the forces of darkness?

Satanic forces are tangible. I would not wish them on my worst enemy. How would Penn get delivered? He isn't involved in the Pentecostal church that believes in casting out devils.

Don't ever pray to the devil to reveal himself. Want to see him in real time? Watch a biography on Charles Manson or any other guy that has yet to be saved.

  • That's the beauty of the united states of America. Anyone can live here and they have rights to pursue freely, and openly whatsoever it is that they believe to be true. The line is drawn clearly on the boundary that when those rights become infringed or forced on others, to their detriment or causing a danger of loss of life, freedom, or their God given rights to their pursuit of happiness.

  • Yes, its in there, sorry.

You think that lawyers are only a 20th century profession? Luke 10:25

Experts in the law, lawyers and judges.

Just because we forgive people, regardless of what they have done, does not mean that they should be allowed to be exempt from breaking the law, they pay the penalty for breaking the law.

Now, go read George Washington's prayer journal. You can google it, it's online for free.

You can't have this be an atheist nation, it never was and it never will be.

  • I'm sorry, did shonuff actually compare being black, Jewish or Asian to being a member of the kkk, a nazi, or to a terrorist, a serial killer or a rapist? And I've been accused of idiot remarks?

First off, people can't control the color of their skin. I'm not offended by the color of a persons skin. Second, turning the other cheek is for someone that might slap me, forgiveness is what you do to keep bitterness from ruining your life.

    Criminal behavior has consequences.

    You're prejudiced.

  • M-Y-C, you're the one that erroneously claimed that I made some idiot insinuation of a remark, but, you let a blatantly bigoted racist remark slide by as completely appropriate.

That's really funny. Like a persons ethinic background is so offensive you need to forgive them for being black, or a Jew, or Asian. But, it's me that's an idiot?

If that isn't completely disgusting, I don't know what is.

Again, forgiveness isn't a tool for escaping justice for crimes against humanity.

  • George Washington didn't like that certain church, his wife did, so what? Where can a president go to church that he'd be safe?

Where can Steve Harvey go to church? (google that episode onTBN's Praise The Lord show, it's eye opening)

    Bono?

    Bob Dylan?

    Countless famous athletes?

    Bruce Springsteen?

There are more with us than there are with them, and we have the best of the best. Truly gifted people understand that their gifts are divine, inspired, something that is beyond themselves.

  • inspiration -noun

1a. a divine influence or action on a person believed to qualify him or her to receive and communicate sacred revelation b. the action or power of moving the intellect or emotions c. the act of influencing or suggesting opinions

    2. the act of drawing in specifically the drawing of air into the lungs

3a. the quality or state of being inspired b. something that is inspired - a scheme that was pure inspiration

    4. an inspiring agent or influence

    1. in·spi·ra·tion·al

  • and God breathed into Adam, the breath of life.

Maybe when science can tell me how any heart beats, (leaving aside the 'why') I'll believe that science has all the answers to humanities problems.

  • viewer discretion is advised? hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahhahahhahhahahahahahahahahahaahahhaahahahahahahahahahhahahhahahahahha.

  • Our conversation had to do with the fact that you practice a religion that has no higher being, no God. You said that you were religious. The definition of atheism is that it's a belief system. Sorry, it's a facts. You can't be alive and not believe something. YOU said you were religious.

How does that translate into me saying that other religions don't have a right to practice their faith? I never said anything like that.

I said why be religious without God, it's a car without gas, simple.

  • The comments that I made about the 70 virgins thing. What I said in response to that crack was deleted, but not by me.

I asked, was he comparing that particular faiths terrorists to Christianity, because that's their pay.

I said, thousands of innocent lives were lost along with hundreds of brave fire and police personel that tried to save them as the twin towers fell.

I asked zellballen what good are 70 virgins to a spirit, where's his dick and how would he get it up?

    I did not delete it

  • Other comments were deleted too, censorship. NIce touch.

Someone challenged me with, 'can't you just be good for the sake of being good?'

See the news today by any chance? People rob each other. They kill their wives. They kill their husbands. They kill their children. They rape other peoples children.

Atheists preach people have the power within themselves to be good, without God.

It's not a fairy tale where there's a happy ending and the Ogre stops grinding up our bones to make his bread.

  • Oh yes, and the foot note to that wise ass Actually stupid or idiot) comment that zellballen made, when he said that If we converted muslims to christians, they'd lose their 70 virgin incentive plan, he called christians dickweeds. Henceforth, the retaliatory comment of, where's a spirit's dick, and what kind of 'weed' was he smoking?

Funny how emwhyceeeaychayell thinks that me remark was idiodic.

He/She didn't like the 'weed' comparison to it being called the opiate of the masses.

  • Pardon my spelling, capitalization and punctuation errors, but if I deleted it to correct it, I'd be accused of covering my ass. Get real, if I posted it, I wouldn't remove it because suddenly I was ashamed.what I deleted was a mute point and silly. I take this issue seriously.

The souls of men and women are in the balance, and we have a nation of children to care about. You think Obama is going to save us?

This nation is in deep shit. What's your plan?

  • You can trust God. Americans have trusted God since the founding of our nation.

Atheists just don't want us to admit it, not in public.

That's what some atheists are saying, because, they're suing in a U.S. district court (again) to expunge from public view our nation's historic trust in God.

Freedom From Religion Foundation v. Ayers calling for this outrageous case to be dismissed as we fight to preserve our nation's Judeo-Christian heritage.

  • This lawsuit, brought by the atheist organization, Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF), focuses on the $621 million Capitol Visitor Center, which opened in Washington, D.C., last year. It includes references to our National Motto, ''In God We Trust,'' and the Pledge of Allegiance (''one nation under God'').

But FFRF wants those references eradicated. Essentially, they want to rewrite history - and write God out.

We will not stand by and let it happen.

    God bless America, period.

  • yea life is beautiful and im christian!!! Youre not so beautiful though dude you need god.

  • Penn, this very well could be your best youtube video yet. I'm not sure why, but I really enjoy it when you open up this side of yourself. Just my seven cents....

  • Sin basically means to miss the mark or target, like in archery. Just being off, yet trying to hit the bulls eye. The definition has become more about violating God's laws. But the origin of the word is more like, "an often serious shortcoming". All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

It's good to have the right standing with God and a relationship restored, there's no guilt, no shame and no condemnation for those in Christ. It's good news. That speeding bus can pass me by, okay?

  • Why can't people just be good, for the sake of being good? Right back at you. They didn't, don't and won't. They fear nothing, not friends, family, police, or God.

So, we should just kiss them all on the cheek and tell them naughty naughty, don't rape kids anymore, you bad boy...

    Give me a break.

I want justice. If they don't pay here, then there will do. Who are you and what if it was your little sister? Mother... or little brother.

Watch the news, then come back and talk. You're clueless.

  • So, the faith we have in God is this, if any man comes to Him believing in the simple manner of faith that Jesus was in fact the salvation plan, sent by God and that He died in our place for the forgiveness of our really really bad behavior, then we can be saved from that final judgment.

Regardless of the magnitude of our bad behavior.

It's called sin in the bible, but it's just plain bad behavior.

It's called the truth of the gospel.

Bible means book and gospel means 'good news'.

  • Jesus hung out and ate with sinners, they called them the 'most wretched sinners'. I like that, because it means that no one is exempt from the grace of God and anyone could be with him.

Penn has issues with 'prophets' that predict bad news. No one wants to hear bad news or that some really bad thing is about to happen. I saw him today on the Nostradamus gig.

Let me put it this way, I appreciate the heads up, a warning isn't a bad thing. If you saw a bus about to run me over, tell me. Right?

  • "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy." The Judge is coming, but until then, let mercy reign, for you too were once outside the fold and would have perished in your sin had not Mercy opened your eyes and heart to the Truth of the Love of God in Christ Jesus.

"What have I to do w/ judging those who are outside? Do U not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges." 1 Cor 5:12-13 "Therefore judge nothing before the ime, until the Lord comes..." 1 Cor 4:5

  • I love it how you say scientology is the only true way and then you call me a "f*$&face". That's great! You know, if you were right and I was wrong, I would rather be wrong than spend eternity in a place where its great to call people that! You should be an evangelist for scientology! REAL MATURE!

  • thanks for the dummy comment. The bible says judge others and lest be judged. If only you knew the love of Christ perhaps you wouldnt judge. I go to a church called Shore Fellowship. Maybe you should check it out, so then you may love others and do what is best for yourself and your neighbors. I aint goin nowhere and neither is my Lord. I assure you the path you are on will only lead you to death. Live by God's will and so you may be in paradise.

  • Okay, just for starters, if you believe that you're an alien, go back to your own planet because people that call other people "fuckface" are screwing up the existence here for the rest of us.

Tom Cruise proved stable in all of his ways, huh?

  • I find it strange and unusual that people would post silly juvenile remarks on the most important issue to this life and to the next one, that they post glib remarks, simply to provoke.

Not to provoke a decent intelligent dialogue, but just to make the person of faith appear stupid, or a "fuckface dickweed".

Why is that? Then, when he got a decent response to both slaps, and one that is laced with intelligence, patience, humor and honesty, he backed off and actually deleted his comments. Why?

  • "zellballen has replied to your comment on Penn Says: Respect for Christians:

Yeah, well, you'd be keeping a Muslim from their 70 virgins if you were to convert them to Christianity. So you should feel bad, dickweed.

You can reply back by visiting the comments page."

You my friend, proved my point, exactly. By resending it to my email box instead of undeleting it you proved yourself a complete coward and totally immature.

  • Zellballen,

So, I get to restate the truth.

When you die, your flesh turns to dust and your penis dries up and falls off. What good would 70 virgins be to a sprit being, or a rotted corpse? Muhammed never rose from the dead, his bones are still where they threw them.

Get a brain that's not smoking (religious) weed and maybe consider that you should stop thinking with that 'little head' of yours.

Repost the the "scientology is the only true way 'fuckface' " slap now, I double dog dare you.

  • Wow, he did it. He reposted it.

Now everyone can see zellballen for who they really are, hidden behind a blog of course. Thanks. I appreciate it.

  • Penn I really enjoy watching your videos. If I could sit with you I would ask you this question: How am I as a pastor wasting a beautiful life? I guess as we differ in viewpoints I feel athiests are wasting more than this life but the life that is to come. The second question I would ask is this...what if you're wrong? If I'm wrong then so what, when I die nothing happens. But if you're wrong that is eternity in hell and then both beautiful life's were wasted. I know God is real and loves you!

  • Not that funny mon ami. Because, if you lead someone to actually believe that there is no God and they are swayed by you, then their blood is on your hands. You will become responsible for keeping them out of the heavenly realm and sentencing them to the Godless eternity that you've freely chosen for yourself.

It's one thing to risk your own immortal soul, being God to yourself, it's another thing to slam the door against someone else.

The stakes are high and your show cards are blank.

  • As far as the 70 virgin thing, how can a dead guy get it up to pro-create with one.

If you're in the spirit realm, where's you dick and what kind of weed are you smoking?

  • PS. typo error -your dick.

People commit felonious crimes every day. They don't believe they'll get caught, so they rob. They murder. They chop people up and eat them. They kill their wives. They kill their husbands. They kill their children. They rape other peoples children.

They don't believe in the law. They have no regard for justice. The prisons are over full to prove it.

A fool says in his heart that there is no God. He is justice. The final One.

Pedophiles get a year probation now.

  • Okay ha-ha-ha, funny dude, not...

The truth is, the only way a career criminal gets a change of heart is by coming to faith and taking responsiblity for his own actions and their former lifestyle.

Many get converted in prison, which is basically hell on earth. And, they know it.

    Grow up.

Humanity is in serious trouble. When a pedophile can get a years probation for raping a child, then the justice system doesn't work.

Judgment after death may be the only justice that is left, for real.

  • Your stats are pulled out of the air pal. Fear of the unknown? No. Most of them actually have a real experience with the God that loves them. Criminals who are just rehabed relapse. Get your facts straight. It's happening everywhere.

Just google it, a guy in Orlando is on youtube, this is the title.

Child Rapists: Convicted of 20 felony counts, rape -sodomy- Probation only!

  • We can; no less than an atheist; there's no evidence to suggest otherwise. From what do you derive your belief that theists have any deficit of our species's innate altruism? Especially since it's such a minority of people who lack(ed) the spiritual sensibility that, for better or worse, has also* typified our species everywhere and throughout history and prehistory. Do the math.

It's untenable; even aside from believers giving more to charity -- secular *and* religious -- than atheists, etc.

  • That was in reply to DoubleHelix&tc's question, "... so the only reason why put should behave is because of a fear of the unknown? Why can't you religious folk just be good for the fact of being good..." I thought it would be posted underneath, since that's where the text input box appeared. (Sigh. Talk about contextless.)

  • Severinsister,

Actually it usually takes a few hours for comments to drop into their proper places and for any votes on the comments to calculate. It's not an instant process. That's why some address their comments, like in a letter form.

  • Ah. Thank you, CoveredInHisWings. That's useful to know.

  • Wake up and smell the coffee.

OJ Simpson got away with murder 'cause he had money and fame.

You can buy your own justice.

The world trade centers were smashed to the ground. Thousands of innocent people, incredibly brave firemen and police were killed in the line of duty to save them, but since we are a 'free' country, Islam isn't banned as a 'religion'.

over 100 million babies have been slaughtered at the hands of abortionists worldwide,

The list of injustices is endless, that's insanity.

  • It's ridiculous to suggest that Islam should be banned as a religion just because some Islamic people are terrorists. Should we ban Christianity because of the Ku Klux Klan? Should we ban Judaism because of the Brit HaKanaim? Be logical.

  • No. We should ban the kkk, are you a complete idiot?

Any religious faction that commits crimes against humanity should be nulified, and void.

Christianity, in it's pure form is non-violent and advocates love for God and humanity. Men twist it to suit themselves and to gain power, and territory.

    Get real and grow up.

If somehow you're advocating the fall of the twin towers or making that act equivocal to Christianity, you need your head examined.

  • No, what I was saying is that Tearstojoy was implying that Islam should be banned altogether because of the actions of a small group of Islamic people. I disagree with that, and was making my point by showing how every religious group has extremists, and we can't hold the whole religion responsible for the actions of those few.

For someone who feels so strongly about God's word being twisted around to suit others, you sure had no problem twisting my statement around to suit yourself.

  • Eat your own words, because the thread of your comments and my reactions are still on the page. I never said anything about squashing any other belief system, ever. That's an atheists job.

  • oh, awesome... so you deleted the comment in which you implied that Islam should be banned in the U.S., now nobody can go back and look at your idiotic remark. Good way to cover your ass.

I'm done. I can see by the comment ratings that this thread has obviously been taken over by close-minded religious idiots who can't debate reasonably. You all enjoy your myopic worldview. If there is a hell (which I doubt), I'll see you all there. Until then, go fuck yourselves.

  • My delete was a reiterate comment, want it back for proof?

  • Done, it was about zellballen in regards to the 'fuckface' comment he made that HE deleted.

When he reposted it, I didn't need to dare him to post it anymore.

I don't know how or what you were thinking about. But it's not what I said. You made it in your own head, in your own reasoning. Not mine.

  • Comment removed

  • I think that every person that lives a life according to the simple truth of the Gospels, which is, Love God and love people have it right.

The kkk is absolute evil, so was Hitler, Stalin, Lenin and Mao Zedong. Radical Islam is no different than all of the rest on that list of 'believers'.

More have been killed under radical communism rule (who are notably atheists) than under the rule of other world powers.

So, my advice to you is, those in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks.

    Capisci?

  • Equality, equivalent and equivocal. That's something to be considered. Because, this entire issue comes down to that.

Who will have the greatest power on the earth? Right?

Will it be Islam, Atheism, or Christianity?

    I know the answer.

I have absolutely no doubt about it.

    Love reigns eternal.

  • Wow, you really can't look at this objectively without skewing things to fit your agenda, so I doubt I can ever say anything to get you to see my point.

    My point was:

Within Christianity there are groups of extremists that do terrible things and should be stopped, just like within Islam there are groups of extremists that do terrible things and should be stopped, but that does not mean that Christianity and Islam as a whole should be banned, just because of the actions of those few extremists.

  • As to your comment that "those in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks", I agree, yet that's exactly what you're doing. You're condemning Islam for having terrorist groups, while your religion also has terrorist groups. I'm not saying you agree with the actions of the KKK, but there are also nonviolent Muslims who don't agree with the actions of Al-Queda. The point is, you can't generalize and make a whole religion responsible for the actions of a few people.

  • Wow, that' not what I said, in the least.

    You're a funny guy huh?

    Talk about scewing.

I never said anything remotely like that.

You want to validate atheism as being non-violent, you want to make faith, disappear, hmmm.

Let's see, how do you propose that? Or, are you saying that we should all just live together and tolerate violence? What was your point exactly?

Because, I still feel the sting of your rocks.

  • Finally, though I don't want to marginalize those hurt by radical communism, the actions of those leaders is not the result of atheism, it is simply the result of corruption of power. You can't blame atheism just because a lot of them were atheists. Atheism isn't a belief system, and there is nothing about atheism that tells you to hurt others. It's like saying that because most serial killers are white males, that being a white male is to blame for serial killings. It's not a logical argument.

  • Wait, so atheists say that people being slaughtered in the thousands by Judeo-Christians is a direct result of their faith or belief, but, atheist leaders in radical communism have slaughtered tens of MILLIONS of their own peoples and nations, yet, it's not a direct result from their belief that there is no God, or that there's no ultimate punishment for their crimes against humanity?

    Hypocrisy, plain and simple.

Glass house, big munga freaking rocks.

  • Really funny.

The law of separation of church and state was set in place to keep the GOVERNMENT out of church, hence the bill of rights and the right of the freedom of worship.

I'm against terrorism and any religious faction that advocates it.

There is nothing about being on the offensive about it.

    It's a simple truth.

Turn the other cheek to people that killed more than 5000 people so that they can have a 70 virgin payoff is not on my list of a protected species, the law demands justice.

  • They dropped the twin towers, God and Christians forgive them, but justice for a crime against humanity is mandatory for the health of human society.

People who break the law have to pay the penalty.

Turning the other cheek was not said so that people can kill you, and your family.

That's a ridiculous mistranslation of what Jesus was saying. Again. Topshonuff, really funny.

This nation was founded by George Washington, read his papers. He founded it on God. It's going to stay that way.

  • If atheists were really concerned about this nation, they would be freaking out that they spent $621 million dollars on a building while the economy tanked. 10% of the nation are now unemployed and people are starving, their property is worthless.

Because their God is MONEY, this nation is in deep shit.

    Again, what is YOUR solution?

    What is YOUR plan?

    What is YOUR answer?

Who do YOU think can help the nation?

You come to the table empty handed and you only want to take what I have away.

  • Again, you are simply trying to make me trade my something, for your nothing.

Sorry, it may only be faith that God is bigger than the mess that men and women have made, but I'm going to trust HIm to help us. with, or without you.

    I'm in good company too.

    Go buy a U2 record.

You don't have to believe in God, but you have no right to strip my belief from me, or the nation that was founded on Godly principles.

Go live in an atheist nation if that's what you want. They might even take you in.

  • Now, before you even go there. Let's take a poll. Who wants to live next door, or downstairs from anyone who has a problem not doing these 10 things?

I am the Lord your God, don't make for yourself an idol, even money

Don't swear and cuss with God's name

Don't work on Sunday, keep it holy

    Get along with parents

    Don't murder

    Don't commit adultery

    Don't steal

Don't lie and gossip about neighbors

Don't even think about your neighbor's wife or anything that belongs to your neighbor

  • Hey, here's a point.

When they interview the neighbors of a child molestor, or a serial killer. Don't they always say gee, he seemed like an okay guy he was quiet.

The guy asked Jesus, I think he was a lawyer, "yeah but, who is my neighbor?"

Who wants to worry that people that aren't afraid of laws live next door to where I'm raising my kids?

People who really believe in God don't break the ten commandments, they usually don't even know them all.

They just don't screw up on purpose.

  • A lawyer, figures.

Just then, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" He said to him, "What is written in the law? How do you read?" the lawyer answered, "You shall love God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself." And he said to him, "You have answered right; do this, and you will live." But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?"

  • Where is this in the Bible?? There were Lawyers in the Bible?? And Jesus did say Love Your Neighbors.. Even if it is KKK, Terrorist, Nazi's, Jews, Blacks, Asians, serial killers, rapist, & Atheist etc..

  • If it's not you, then you have absolutely no right to judge.

  • No, you're wrong.

Go and read George Washington's writings and the documents of the founding of the nation. Freedom from tyranny, religious freedom was not freedom freedom from religion, my God. You're seriously misinformed.

Read Washington's writings. Then come back and talk about what the founding fathers believed.

You still have not answered the question, what is it that you're bringing to the table besides hopelessness?

I'm not swallowing your bullshit, sorry.
