get a life you sad bastards, if you go and watch them load you will realise thay are not tight they have water and they have to be fed, you low life protesters have no idea you just have it in your head that its bad, most of the stock moving is going for breading and if it was left in the uk it would have no life

you lot are just a bunch of fucking Vegan wankstains you are unbelievably selfish toward a few things a) The Drivers (The only do their job to go pick up the animals) b) The Economy we need these exports to help our farmers earn some well earned money you try doing there job? c) The Animals You do more harm than good distressing the animals by yelling and blowing loud whistles at them!
At the end of the day you lot should get the fuck over yourselves and not be so self righteous
@starshiptrooper425 This trade does very little for the UK economy. The number of sheep being exported is not what it once was. The farmers have a choice to sell to the exporters, which they do because they get 30% more money for them that way. BUT they can still sell them. They wouldn't go out of business. In transporting the animals, only about a dozen (if that) people are employed. For a sick trade like this, it is laughable to claim MONEY is a reason to put INNOCENT SOULS through this.
@kentrider94 Innocent souls I just actually laughed at this you self righteous bellend.
You had no answer to Point c)? Bloody jumped up hippies go get a shower and get a job and get over it! Meat Taste's good! I should know first hand as I have killed animals
@starshiptrooper425 I am not self righteous. All animals have souls - in that respect they are no different to us. They feel emotion and pain. Why do you assume I don't eat meat? I don't, but many people who protest against this trade do. This is not about that, and I do not hold it against any one. I neglected to respond to point C as I was in a rush - but do you really think some people shouting for 10-15 seconds is going to make a difference to a journey of up to 80 hours like this?
@kentrider94 Shouting does no good for the animals at all they get distressed, panic and crush each other because of all the noise you lot make your louder than the truck engine!
@starshiptrooper425 Continued from last comment - Many people who protest at the port have respectable jobs or are in education. We do this in our free time to try to do something about the plight of these animals. We are not jumped up hippies as you put it, we have had showers. We have the support of many prolific figures including the local council, our MP and several charities. Meat may taste good, but why do you feel threatened by those who reject it? Why does it bother you so much? Peace.
Thanet Council does not want this vile trade but is unable to stop it due to The Harbours, Docks & Piers Clauses Act of 1847 which makes it illegal to refuse a ship the use of a port if it is carrying out lawful trade. This law stops port owners refusing trade on ethical grounds. Please sign the e-petition started by Councillor Ian Driver to get the law changed.
What a surprise that the negative comments are from lorry drivers! The Sunday Times article of 04/09/2011 about this disgusting trade mentions that a company was last year ordered by magistrates in Dover to pay more than £10,000 for breaches of the Welfare of Animals (Transport) Order. Perhaps they should try a journey in the back with the animals? No - the poor creatures are standing in enough of it already.
In those trucks. The very young, the elderly, the disabled, the sick and injured. So cramped they can't move, so hot they can't breath. Hungry, thirsty and frightened. Forced to stand like this in their own excrement for up to three days. All on their way to a horrifc death. Only people who remain willfully ignorant about these barbaric practices would critisize thoes with compassion and humanity enough to try and stop the unimaginable suffering these poor innocent creatures go through.
@songbird0067 Bullshit, animals are well looked after in transport especially Irish trucks. Well animals need to be killed in a more humane way then go do something about it.
In those trucks. The very young, the elderly, the disabled, the sick and the injured. So cramped that they can't move or even breath properly. Hungry, thirsty and frightened. Forced to stand like this in their own excrement, for up to three days. All on their way to a horrific death. Animals which are as capable of suffering as we are. Only people who remain willfully ignorant to the reality of this barbaric trade would critisize the protesters.Their only concern is money and their own comfort
This video disgusts me. Knowing that those trucks are jam-packed with cattle rather than cars or other inanimate objects is a disgrace. I think we transport cars in better conditions. Their journey includes being on a boat for days standing up with no room to move. What a nightmare. The protesters in this video are an inspiration. Well done to them! Cattle and sheep need to be killed in Australia under humane laws. Not overseas.
@BABYGIRL2230 you are wromh about the animals being on boats for days . most of the lorries in that video would have been loaded in england and then down to ramsgate for a short crossing , they then come off for a rest period in france and load again to destination. you people dont realise the cost of the trailers lorries etc... the specification of the trailers is unbelievable along with the price of them... them useless protesters should go and get jobs and stop protesting
@BABYGIRL2230 If you care about animals, please consider becoming vegan. There is no such thing as "humane slaughter". It is ALL absolutely horrific. It's easy to become vegan. Sign up & take the vegan pledge for a month & get your own vegan mentor at the vegan society. It's completely free. You won't look back!
I'm an animal rights protester & I do have a very good job thank you very much. I think your comments show your complete ignorance and stupidity. Actually these protesters should be commended for what they are doing. They are compassionate people who care about the needless suffering of defenceless animals (who feel pain & fear just as we do). The protesters are taking time out of their probably busy schedules to make a stand for animals & bring attention to their suffering. Well done to them!
@EmmaB123451 Good for you. I wouldn't commend the protesters with their stupid, erratic behaviour jumping in front of lorries, read the description again these idiots are costing money to police them.
