Got a death threat via anonymous email when I was in HS and it talked about me and where I worked and stuff so I knew it was someone who knew me--freaked me out. Ignoring bullies did nothing for me, neither did confronting them. Some people are just asses. People who say "real" bullying is harder to get away from...do you realize how dumb you sound? When they can text, call, email, post shit online, attack all your social pages, what do you do? Hide from technology?

Getting bullied at school is much worse because it's harder to get away from. But I agree that in those situations, being willing to just hit someone usually ends the bullying most of the time. I found that out from personal experience.
