David crockett is the guys name, he's from Blairsville, PA. I saw this car at the National meet in Lancaster, PA a few years ago. He's running a sbc 383. VERY nice car indeed!
Thanks Wolfmaster, I believe it's still in the hands of the people I recall owning it several years ago. If you happen to see the guy again point them my way for an email. If I recall, (since they stripped the badging before painting. That car was a Daytona trim level. Top of the line. And Yes Studebaker had the rights to "Daytona" before Dodge. ; ) Thanks again. That's a 1966, "Lark type" Last year Studebakers made cars, (Canada) Would the owners name happen to be Crockett? Sharp ride. If it is, we haven't heard from him since Lancaster.
