  • Heard this forever now, had to google it finally. Here i am. i have Comcast St.Croix

  • I am so glad you posted this! I live in the Orlando area and have Comcast. I started noticing it during the golden globes but now I hear it all the time. I am watching the Super Bowl and it is driving me crazy. Any idea of the cause? Thanks so much. I am glad to low that it is just not me!

  • If you could re-produce the sound with software at an audible level that we can hear, I would appreciate it. Just download some software and try to reproduce what you are hearing. I will give you a grade on what you reproduce.

  • The only channel on TV that I watch is AMC. I hear that exact same sound ALL THE TIME. Literally, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't hear it on that channel. I've been analyzing it much more lately, especially after seeing your video. It seems to be that the sound it played during scenes of violence, or when certain words are said. I'd like to know more but I'm having a difficult time finding specific information on the web.

  • @frontporchcreep Also I'd like to add that they play it almost non-stop during the airing of their new show "Hell on Wheels". Like, I said I hear it everyday, but sometimes when I attempt to point it out to other people some claim to not hear it at all. Strange.

  • Thanks again all who have responded. Sorry I havent been on much to reply. First I lost my cable/ internet/ then my electric, then my house, had to move to Virginia and live with family. I did however heat the sound up in bristol tn earlier in the year when i was visiting there in whatever cable they have.

  • @Myakkachoppertube BTW that should say HEAR not HEAT. Sorry it was late and I was typing in the dark.

  • Get a cheap digital camera put it in front of the TV. My daughter was trying to record a disney show and she called me and said what are these large black line's. So i started useing it to see what happened. During the news ect....when they say certain words it happens. Like war terror fear food coke you get the point try it.My tv's are off.peace.

  • I've heard it on pretty much just NBC on Brighthouse cable in central Florida. Now that I'm in Pennsylvania, I heard it on a CBS station watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!, and now I'm hearing it on MSNBC too on Comcast.

  • And btw I live in Orlando Florida and I have comcast so I guess that kind of tags along with all the other information

  • I keep hearing this on sunday night football and it gets really loud. I hate it and it's distracting so I searched to see if anyone else could hear it cause I felt crazy

  • I can hear it! :O

  • shut off your tv

  • My girlfriend can feel a vibration in her ears when you touch the speaker, I can actually hear it. We just were listening to this noise on AMC throughout the whole Breaking Bad Episode...both back to back episodes.

  • @vntagequeen I hear it on AMC all the time. They play the signal like it's going out of style. I'm glad it's not just me.

  • i can hear it and it drives me crazy.. my boyyfriend can not.. only on nbc.

  • @Kisstalo9 I have been hearing it on a couple other stations lately. I seem to be the only one in my family that hears it though. It is frustrating trying to explain that sound to someone who doesn't hear it. Thanks for the comment and i will keep trying to figure it out.

  • Howard stern talked about it for a second when playing agt clip but he didn't know it was the tape, he thought it was his studio

  • Thank god I'm not going crazy.. noticed it first in Minneapolis during am got talent and stopped watching. Now its on football. Drives me insane, have to change channel

  • @jameskarth it is very disturbing i cant believe some people dont hear it. I wonder if its the network or the cable company or audi engineers or just a wierd artifact from to much digital processing.

  • Yes I hear it! Thank God I found someone else who can hear it! I do not know what is going on with it but it is the worst! I am in Zephyrhills Florida by the way, watching on Verizon Fios

  • @isaaclwalker Thank you for your input so far I have tracked it in Minneapolis area, and it is the Comcast feed, here in sarasota comcast feed , and now you in zeypher hills on FIOS! Also I want to add tonight I was watching Breaking Bad new epiesode (love that show) and that is AMC 56 here on comcast. I heard it and recorded it. It was primarily on NBC live broadcasts but I have heard on taped shows too. Still dont know what or why but if its some engineer F-up then he should be fired!

  • Yes I hear it! Thank God I found someone else who can hear it! I do not know what is going on with it but it is the worst!

  • I live in the Minneapolis area, and it is the Comcast feed.

  • @tdodge1972 I thank you for your response and information. Perhaps it is comcast. This will help narrow it down. Thanks again

  • Maybe your TV is too old???

  • @esmilodon actually I thought that however I also recorded the sound on my new TV in the living room which is a VIZIO flat panel. The signal is aexactly the same. So it is not the TV. I actually recorded it on the new TV but I didnt post a movie because it seemed redundant. After this conversation I will post the video from the vizio tv.

  • There are forces beyond the dimesions mans doesn't know there are elements and things not discovered yet & our technology is only rediscovered there's nothing new we are learning think about the Pyramids I don't care how many people are cuttting stones or lifting them it's not possible without some technology doing that..As far as the sounds go I'd run it though a ossiliscope and see if there are differences....Trust that nothing is impossible arkcums Razor ever here that concept?

  • @olsonator1969 i must confess i am mostly ignorant about most things however i am sure of the acuraccy of your statement. I am mildly familer with the place in Miami built from large blocks of coral in secret by one latvian impossibley. Alas I am certain that what we believe is impossible is limited only by our understanding of the world around us. We are very primitive in our knowledge as humans and have much to learn. I lack adequate facilities to examine the signal with a scope. Thank you.

  • @olsonator1969 i founf info on Ochams Razor at youtube.com/watch?v=9XEA3k_QIKo i found this to be very informative but does not make me understand what exactly you are pruposing. It would seem I could use Ochams Razor to shave down possibilites as to why this sound or signal is present, but moreso I feel it better represents the fact of what i said that our inability to understand things beyond our knowledge has resulted in this occurance and that some one who does know placed it

  • @olsonator1969 I didnt hear anything

  • recieved no input from NBC. Perhaps they are researching it. Maybe I really am crazy. They dont think I am crazy at the social security office. Despite my diffulty to work in a structured envirioment. It is so hard you dont what its like. for me this is a normal thing for me. I cant pay attention to the show from the distraction of the signal. I can sometimes do things almost obssesevily and sometimes I cant do anything.. It is what it is and nothing else.

  • well i sent to NBC to see what they say so be lookin for me get pulled for copyright. sorry i just want someone to give me answers. thanks everyone.

  • If you really want to hear it I rcommend to watch it with headphones on without other distractions. It is there I know I am hearing it. I don't know what or why but I know it to be there. I also heard it on my vizio lcd tv.is it NBC? I only hear on NBC station. Is it comcast? Is it 3rd party or other? Is it just a fluke of an unlucky audio engineer?

  • Ya, it's a guy cheering. Get over it, schitzo freak.

  • @matthmatthmatth you must not here the sound. its definately not as you describe. thank you for your input. I want to know. my wife and son cant hear it but to me it just overwelmes the show and i litterally cant pay attention to the show because my mind gets stuck on the damn signal. it occurs about every 4.75 seconds with a 1 sec duration. I am sure that is due my mental illness yes. but it is there. it exists.

  • @Myakkachoppertube also there seems to be seven segmants or notes do dee do dee do dee dah. please comment i see my watches go up and no comments. Do you not hear it?!?!?

  • @Myakkachoppertube I am hearing the noise tonight during the packers game. Only when they go back to the live feed, not the commercials.

  • @tdodge1972 absolutly! I heard that there too! It seems to occur only with the live feed from shows like Americas Got Talent, Saturday Night Live and such. Maybe its something to do with their microwave transmission or somthing. I know to me it makes the show damn near unwatchable all I can do is hear that damn sound over and over. Any chance you are in the COMCAST SARASOTA cable area or is this a larger phenomenom?

  • OK I timed in a very non specific non scientific way. I got a stopwatch and when i heard the sound i start watch until I hear the next time. It is not percise but as I experienced the interval was aproxapamtly 4.75 seconds. i am watching tonights live and i am gonna try to measure that. I just did and the interval is about 4.745 seconds. also the duration of the signal is about 1 second and has 7 spererate sounds. do de do de do de do. that is the breakdown of it. Please post your expierences!

  • @Myakkachoppertube ALSO I EXPIERENCED THE SIGNAL IN A VERIZON COMERCIAL DURING THE AGT SHOW. I hear it alot on the AGT show. but when I heard it in the comercial that is not a live performance and not during applause.

ALSO I just recorded the same sound on my other TV which is a flat apnel new digital TV. I am gonna make another movie about that one. I cant just sit there listening to that sound. I try but I cant It drives me crazy!!!

  • i apprieciate all who respond even you dont hear it and you say i am a damn psycho because at least I will know. I am certain I hear this soound though and I am unsure as to why. It is what it is and it makes me nuts. I can even be recording a song on my computer with headphones on and i can still hear the sound thats how bad it is for me. Thanks again for your participation.

  • Man they been doing that since forever

  • Like a song that is stuck in your head.

  • It reminds me of a "catchy tune" that is repeated almost like the rhythm of a song.. Honestly I'm kind of beside myself. I have a long family history of Schizophrenia and have been hearing this ever since the "digital switch" and I've never told a soul, out of fear that I was falling victim to the same illness as 80% percent of my mothers family... Words can't express how elated I am to know that I'm not the only one. I find the tune repeats itself for a bit after I change the channel or leave.

  • @TheBreakSnake Thank you for your reply. That is how its been for me but then I started telling people.

  • You may notice I get to the point were I actually kinda lead of and anticipate it. It seems to happen in timed intervals. I havent timed it yet but I will try that next. May not be HAARP but definately something odd.

  • I think I heard it. Did it sound like someone dialing in a walkie talkie?

  • @midevalcheese

Kinda sorta it is hard to describe. thanks for listening and posting!!
