I've loved the Killers for a while now but have all the more respect for them now that they've mentioned Candy and Jackie. Maybe they are refering to other people but in my mind, it's Candy Darling and Jackie Curtis.

Candy Darling and Jackie Curtis were two Andy Warhol Superstars. Both were transvestites but Candy was very pasable for a woman and even though you could tell Jackie was a man, he was hysterical. You should look them up on Youtube. Again, I'm not sure if that is the reference but I was reading somewhere how the Killers were doing something with Lou Reed, who was good friends with both Candy and Jackie and wrote the song "Take A Walk On The Wild Side" about them. Gotta love the Killers!

The first time I saw the killers was right before hot fuss came out.. Expecting to hear only one or two songs from this unknown band, I was totally wowed when every song, every song was awesome. Hot Fuss was released a week later and the rest is history...

i agree, A Dustland Fairytale is gonna be a huge single with an epic video.... I think the album is near perfect! except for I Cant Stay, Joyride and Goodnight Travel Well, not to say there not good songs, there just not great!!! All the songs that i didnt mention get a 10/10!!!!
