Awesome!! I have wanted to start doing this but for some reason assumed that it would be too difficult to learn...OR is it that, because of your expertise, you make it seem quite simple?
YAAYYY!! This was demonstrated so well! Now I feel like I could really try this and with practice maybe make a simple rug! Thanks for starting at the beginning for a beginner...Does the fabric need to be secure in a frame or hoop type contraption or just loose? Thank You!
@luna64ful It should be tight without slack. if the fabric is loose it will be harder to hook. Once you get the hang of it it becomes like second nature. have fun and happy hooking!
Thanks for the excellent demonstration! I have a rug I started many years ago but lost the instructions. I'm looking forward to finishing it! You mention a blog but I don't see a link to it. Could you post that information?
Without a doubt, this is the best instructional video on the web. I'm just starting out with no local teachers available, and your video really gave me the basics on this wonderful new hobby. Thanks so much for posting it.

I don't recognize this fabric as monk's cloth. I sell Monks cloth and it does not look like this. Would ths be Huck's cloth?
