oh ok. yeah im getting ready to make the jump to flybarless with my trex 500. but would i need a 7 channel. i have the dx6i now and cant decide if i want the dx7 or the sk 360 flybarless setup first. i have an ar7000.
The remote bank switching on the sk360 allows you to have two flight modes, so you can have a scale like flight mode, and a stunt one and can chose which one to use in flight.

You don't need a 7 channel radio to go flybarless.
I also have a sk-360 and I don't use the remote bank switching feature. You only need a 7th channel if you wish to use that feature.
