i have an Evo 4g and my Nephew has a Droid X and the droid x does not support flash media but is coming out with an update real soon. the Evo 4g does support flash 10.0.1.

Personally I'm getting the HTC Evo 4G for Christmas but it's all about which one you like better. The Motorola Droid X and the HTC Evo 4G are both way better than the Motorola Droid 2 w/ the keyboard.

i would like to call Bull**** at 2:35. there is no way he stopped all active tasks on both phones. When he opened YouTube it took 0 seconds to load on the X. Then when he opened the browser it took 0 seconds to load Google on the X. They HAD to have been running in the background. And plus the X is on 3g and the evo is on wifi.

i have the evo and i dont recall my phone ever taking that long to load up anything. i quit using the weather and news widgets and keep the appkilker killing apps every minute. helps a lot i must say. but as far as network speed goes verizon and sprint imo are the best. both great phones. love my evo

@jonvssocrates I found the specs on the Droid X (which I'm going to buy on Thursday! Can't Wait!) It said it's talk time was 8 hours, and standby was 220 hours. The HTC Evo 4G was hard to find, I couldn't get the standby time, but the Talk Time on sprints website said it was 6 hours. So the Droid X has 2 more hours of Talk Time than the Evo. Sign up for verizon, the service is A LOT better.

@afterbirth83 other videos are doing sprint's 4g vs verizon's 3g networks, on wifi the droid x can use 802.11 b/g/n evo only does g/n. The IT OMAP3630 1gz processor is also faster than the qualcomm's snapdragon. Higher bandwidth+faster rendering=profit

I own no smart phone, just an envy 3 and i still like the evo better because it isn't as bulky, and everything is touch on the evo, there are buttons on the x. I also like the evo because it is verizon, no i do not have verizon and also the evo seems to be more durable. The best thing about the evo too is it has a webcam which the x does not. And the user interface is "smoother" on evo.

2nd- in my opinion the evo is more bulky due to it being more thick..

Just the way a review should be done, one suggestion, when doing browser comparison, clearing the cache on both phones and killing tasks what be good, looked like some of those pages were cached some weren't
