i done CONQUEROR couse i think it will be very good and easy to play at hard levels.... hard to be killed and not hard to kill enemys.... even is more beautiful to see warrior+mage skills...
@Klasus357 Yeah indeed, Conqueror has better survival than the hybrid classes, but it offers very little in terms of diverse attacks. It's mostly just hack and slash.
@matseb2611 usually in games i choose class like Assassin couse i like fast dps ... but in this type of game i make warriors that hve nice defense and attack... my first time with battlemage i was dying much times until i arrived to Deplhi but with CONQUEROR 0 times... for now...
great vid man! just started playin couple of days ago and made a conqueror. great game. really needed something to get my diablo fix from till d3 comes. path of exile is pretty similar to this game too.
Yeah, TQ will have you occupied for many hours since there are so many different classes to try out. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try Path of Exile sometime.
I've got a question.... can defence passive attacks (those shield attacks on the right) trigger when using skills like onslaught? I've got a conqueror and focusing mainly on warfare but would like to know how i could use a shield.
Oh, and triumph is bugged? How come, doesn't it work at all?
@Anonymous247n Yeah, those shield passives work fine with Onslaught. Well Triumph, from what I've read on the TQ forums, only gave the -50% to enemy's stun resist, but not the other bonuses. In the fanpatch it gets fixed though, so it gives all the bonuses it says it should.
What is pve? As for damage dealing, there are many good classes. What sort of damage dealing are you after? Is it being able to kill many smaller enemies quickly or more about dealing powerful one-off criticals to bosses and such?
@matseb2611 i coul use melee orrange char ppve=player vs enviroment, mmmm and i could say ill like a char that could kill any ass bosses or small enemies
Hmm, in that case classes such as Conqueror, Warden, Templar, Harbinger, Haruspex, Spellbreaker, and Spellbinder would all fit what you're looking for. I know it's a lot of options. From those above, Harbinger and Spellbreaker are very offensively oriented, whereas the others are good tanks as well, but might be slow to develop at the start. Haruspex can make a good archer character too.
hey dude i've got one question and i apreciate if you reply .. i playd this game but they never asked me to choose the second mastery. why is that ??? i cant understand why ... i choosed for the first mastery the warfare class.. and i built all the skills .. but nothing ... dont know what to do ... its kinda frustrating ...
yes and no on using duel wield. I put one point in each and maybe more later, why? because it makes you shield a weapon, which means the bonii for each apply to both. IE, the +% physical on shield now applies also to your sword or axe or whatever you choose to use.
thanks man! i have played titan quest for about 2 years now, but i never thought the mastery of defence would be any fun...But after your vid i'll certaintly give it a try!
Yeah, I thought the same when I first read the names of each mastery. "Defence" is a rather misleading name because it makes you think it's all about surviving and little about attacking, but Defence is pretty great offensively too. Nature on the other hand is a really defensive mastery.
There are a lot of fan-made character skins out there. Try the allskins mod. That has pretty much every fanmade skin. All you do is install the mod, and then whilst in game you run it. All it does is introduces 3 new merchants, which sell these skins. You can then switch back to normal game and the skin you applied will still remain on your character.
It depends on what kind of playstyle you like. I myself love fast aggressive melee attackers, so my perfect classes are Harbinger, Spellbreaker, Warden, Templar. If you want very defensive class try Guardian. Conqueror is good at everything, but he has very few active skills, so could get boring. If you like archers, then you can try Ranger or Brigand. If mages with very strong spells then maybe Oracle or Evoker. If pets then Soothsayer perhaps.
Thanks. I keep trying other games, but yet I continually return to this absolute gem. I love your take on the different builds. I sometimes invest points into skills that don't really augment the experience. Now, I'm getting a much better handle on it.
Awesome. The thing with builds there is no right and wrong build for each class. There is just what works best with what. I believe every skill is useful, but some skills are only useful in very specific builds that require a fair amount of commitment. I generally put conventional/standard builds out on these videos, but that does not mean it's the only way to build a certain class. :D
with what mastery do you begin warfare or defense
MephRogue 7 hours ago
@MephRogue
You can do with any, but I'd probably advise you to start with Warfare, because Defence is really slow to get started.

@Klasus357 That's good. Battlemage was my first character too. With hybrids it is harder, but you can make them strong too.

I don't think there is a site with all these builds and skill allocations. But I am sure on the TQ forums there are a lot of topics on each build.

Yep. You lose out half of the Defence mastery skills if you stop using a shield.
