Great work...You should use the exaust from your generator to make algea, then you could press your own bio-deisle and have no fuel bill at all. As well the water from your water filter would be rich in carbon dioxide you could grow algea with that too.
Those digesters appear to be a thousand times simpler than the kind that you usually see in the industry. How do you purge the air? Once it gets going, do you need to pump the gas for pressure?
Excellent job, thank you very much for the video and fantastic practical demonstrations. Could you (or someone else:) pls be so kind and write me a couple of worthwhile sources that talk about biogass plants in more detail?
does anyone know how to get the digestion process started?. How to know when the digestion process is complete?. Is all the material just put in at the start and then just left in until the cycle is complete? Does the liquid have to be drained off or added at any stage?
Any advice greatly appreciated. Best wishes to all.
just one thing.. the sulphur dioxide produced by digestion is something you may want to scrub from the gas a drum full of old mails or steel wool will do it as sulphur dioxide is very corrosive and wont be the best for your genny
sulfur dioxide is VERY corrosive (rotten egg gas) and it will react with iron rather fast and lock it up before it hits the genny.. so a drum full (for a very large reactor) will srub it out before it gets to the genny.
although lime water (witch i hope is what the drums a filled with) will also help (now im more educated on the subject) as the sulfur dioxide is acidic and reacts with the
my friend shelby, i really like your video it gives alot of help and idea. can i have your email add to that i can sent you some questions regarding your cheap biogas
Hi Shelby great video. In fact one of the few biogas videos with so much information. Even though we are in different parts of the world, i will pass on your web address to the family farm.
he almost made cry! In the conclusion when he said "So, our children would have a better place to live"

how do you open the bags to remove the digestate? it looks like the bags are underground like youd have to dig them up every time.
