  • he almost made cry! In the conclusion when he said "So, our children would have a better place to live"

  • you the man!!! i love your technology

  • is that a flow thru digester tank?

  • Great work...You should use the exaust from your generator to make algea, then you could press your own bio-deisle and have no fuel bill at all. As well the water from your water filter would be rich in carbon dioxide you could grow algea with that too.

  • Hi do you know anything about selfcontained AD for use up to 400L a day of waste?

  • Very good information. Thank you for posting this video.

  • how do you open the bags to remove the digestate? it looks like the bags are underground like youd have to dig them up every time.

  • Well done on your successful project boet, and a very nice presentation. I hope to come and visit Greenways farm and see your work. Al Lewis, Hilton

  • Congradulations Shelby!

Those digesters appear to be a thousand times simpler than the kind that you usually see in the industry. How do you purge the air? Once it gets going, do you need to pump the gas for pressure?

Is it difficult to empty out and refill?

  • thanks shel. How do you combine the biodiesel and the biogas?where can i find this technology explanation?

  • GREAT JOB SIR

  • what a very NICE BIOGAS PROJECT....

  • who will clean those containers of chicken shit?

  • Excellent job, thank you very much for the video and fantastic practical demonstrations. Could you (or someone else:) pls be so kind and write me a couple of worthwhile sources that talk about biogass plants in more detail?

  • does anyone know how to get the digestion process started?. How to know when the digestion process is complete?. Is all the material just put in at the start and then just left in until the cycle is complete? Does the liquid have to be drained off or added at any stage?

Any advice greatly appreciated. Best wishes to all.

  • i hope someone can explain the cleaning process a little more thanks in advance

  • Wonderful.

  • I wish i was that smart

  • You are....You're just to comfortable to get with it right now.

  • @neanam just put stuff in a bag get rid of oxygen and it makes gas you can do it

  • ncbookz

thanks meant a lot to me!

  • just one thing.. the sulphur dioxide produced by digestion is something you may want to scrub from the gas a drum full of old mails or steel wool will do it as sulphur dioxide is very corrosive and wont be the best for your genny

  • @HomeDistiller can you explain this a little more please thanks

  • sulfur dioxide is VERY corrosive (rotten egg gas) and it will react with iron rather fast and lock it up before it hits the genny.. so a drum full (for a very large reactor) will srub it out before it gets to the genny.

although lime water (witch i hope is what the drums a filled with) will also help (now im more educated on the subject) as the sulfur dioxide is acidic and reacts with the

    lime (as does carbon dioxide)

  • great setup i will be building a small one myself

  • my friend shelby, i really like your video it gives alot of help and idea. can i have your email add to that i can sent you some questions regarding your cheap biogas

  • Well done!

  • this is sooooo cool! wow, it inspired me to do something along this line. excelent video, keep up the good work mate!

  • can you tell me how to get polithine as storage of bio affluant, and how long can use same polithene storage.

  • how to construct unleak plastic container like that ?

  • Hi Shelby great video. In fact one of the few biogas videos with so much information. Even though we are in different parts of the world, i will pass on your web address to the family farm.

    All the best,

    ocky.
