@Quipsilon yes you can. all the effects are able to adjust manually. wet/dry parameter (also known as depth or volume of effect) is controled by fader and lenght (also known as size, beat or time) you can adjust with buttons (...1/4, 1/2, 1, 2/1, 4/1...) or with rotation knob - which gives you totaly manual option - you can't be more manual as that ;) ...that's probably what your asking for... so yes, every effect can be set manualy with that rotation knob as well (as filter). Greats!
@FejkeNnr1 the effects are very good. every effect on this mixer you can really use it very well - i'm really enjoying the effects. i would gave it 4 and with comparisong with the pioneer djm400/600 i would say it's way better cause you can set the parameters X and Y by hand to your personal purpose not only in (1/4, 1/1 and so on...) ...djm400/600 had only this automatic choice ...2/1, 3/4, 1/1, 1/2, 1/4... you can only adjust the wet/dry (parameter Y) by reloop you can both parameters
@DJSunriZe also i really like how this mixer feels. i've played with denon dn-x500, pioneer djm600 and behringer djx700 and all had plastic eq knobs, which to me, feels very cheap. reloop iq2+ has it covered in nice rubber that just gives you an excellent feel for control. pioneer djm800 already has eq knobs in rubber - so something about copying from pioneers? sometimes yes, but not with this rubber feel! Greats!
I bought it new (when it first came out) for 270 EUR ...but currently is the price around 290-299 EUR (408.58-421.26 USD). For the IQ2+ USB is between 339-349 EUR (477.62-491.71 USD) in Europe DJ Stores.
Don,t wish to ask a stupid question...but how the hell do you monitor your master output frequency when your LED indicators are all red? Or whatever happened to green, amber then red (overdrive).
And is this mixer hard wearing and worth the money in your opinion. I have an RMX-30 which i,m thinking of swapping for one of these instead.
that's no stupid question! haha... I never tought it in that way... all that lights (buttons, frequency indicators...) is only in the red. So freq. ind. are also only in red, no green, no yellow - between left & right indicator u have "frequency letter" and the zero is in bold style. I never had problem with this - actually I like it better. Yes this mixer is hard, strong built and yes worth every money.
The effects, crossfader effects, crossfaderstart, linefaderstart, two different inputs for headphomes, crossfader & linefader adjustments, record output. balanced output... this mixer has all you can need and lot of mixers in the bigger price range don't have all these features... I they should - so shame for them. And rubber potenciometers - what a feeling. Excellent mixer!!
Much obliged...so what your saying is that 'zero' in bold style is your output/trims
cutoff point or to put it in simpler terms...exceed that zero in bold style and its the equivilent of going into the red or overdrive on other mixers?( say a djm-400 for eg.)
In reality everything lights in red color! No pink what so ever. But unfortunately cause the video is made with photocamera (and old model) & not with videocamera!, the video is a bad quality - that's why you get a feeling that everything lights in pink. But if you have any kind of doubt it's best not to get the product.
Best way is as I know is if you use a external soundcard like Audio DJ 2 or others like. I know that you can connect mixer with computer without a external soundcard. First one is if you buy Reloop IQ 2+ USB, not IQ 2+ that I have and another way is... in VDJ you can select in output MONO SEPARATED but problem is that song which os playing on channel A you can hear on speaker #1, song on channel B you can hear on speker #2 so that isn't best. I would recomend Audio DJ 2 or Numark I/O soundcard
Mine is without usb cause u can buy with usb or without. I think that u can't use the same as controler. When you move the eq's, linefaders, crossfader it won't show movement in software. Usb is only if u want to play mp3, the direct connection from pc, that you don't need the external soundcard or something like that. Cause I don't think the IQ2+USB is MIDI.
The (only) advantage with players are (my opinion) that you can use faderstart (if players have) with this mixer... that's pretty useful. I don't know on what you prefer to play... but anything is ok. The effects play-work with any audio source that you connect into the mixer... cd players, tt or just from aux (mp3 player... I even used a mobile phone.)
You can also easily switch on channel A: line1(or phono1)/cd1/aux and for channel B: line2(or phono2)/cd2 just above EQ. That's great cause now I don't need to buy a 4-channel mixer if I want to spin music with the cd players too. I can easly mix music from 4 audio sources with this mixer 8)
thanks man!i read you like this mixer and spend good speech about. do you scratch heavy? btw, the fader work good. the cut is clear...so i have vestax pmc06 (old school), but i use with my friends rane , also vestax 08...but i haven't play with another scratch mixer (like:stanton, gemini, pioneer). i'm a scratcher but i like play with sounds too.
thanks! Because you can use buttons and knob for the x parameter. And you have a special fader just for y parameter. The knob has even 2 functions, the rotation changes parameter for 1 "level" and if you pressed down and rotate then, the parameter changes for 100 or 10 if is under 100. So it's very simple and quick. As I said before I'm only missing the kill switches, but whatever.
Faderstart A and B are for connecting the CD players which have faderstart function. You connect CD player for channel A to faderstart A and equally for the second player, B. When you move crossfader to position A, the player asign for channel A will automaticly start to play, without pressing the play button on player. When you move fader to B, second player will automaticly star playing. Player A will be automaticly put to a pause.
As you realize, you can't trust BPM counter on the mixer, I don't know why they can't be so precise as on players... I' ve never had a mixer in my hands which has got a bpm counter precise as on players. That's the fact. Maybe Pioneer DJM (very expensive mixers) but still I doubt that's so precise even theirs. At behringers DJX 700 is totaly horror. I will try tomorrow and answer more exact, but I know that sometimes bpm counter on this mixer needs a second to find exact bpm, sometimes more...
It depends of your need and use. I think that extra 2 channels always come in handy for emergency situations (for example software freeze...) or just for combine with more things at the party. RMX-40 cost similar as Behringer DDM 4000. It seems Behringer finaly made step forward and the mixer is digital and has lots of features. Between cheaper 4 channel mixers I would probably buy DDM 4000. For 2-channel mixers I'm all for Reloop IQ2+. I'm saying for cheaper companies.
yes the mixer is very good quality built and sound. after behringer left me down, i wasn't sure into lower priced companies anymore. i always wanted to buy djm 400 but then i saw this one cheaper and i "gambled" buying it. enjoying and loving it now. no regrets about it... i'm only missing kill swithes... but ok no mathers.
i got the exact same and problames with the audio. Are you using an amp?
mirsh123 5 months ago
@mirsh123 Yes I use amp for running the speakers, cuz' they are passiv. What kind sound problems do you have? Is it mixer or speakers maybe?

...Forgot to ask...is the BPM Readout accurate and fast (at locking down a beat)
The bpm readouts on the RMP-2,s are very floaty. You,ve got to use your ear alot.
And where is the bpm readout on your screen...again,don,t mean to ask a stoopid question.
GuppyWhisperer 2 years ago
The BPM counter is only "shit" on this mixer. It's not accurate and not fast working - but I don't use it. But hey, you can't have it all...
0:34 - red screen - middle of the mixer - lower left side in the screen. Uppon that says CH1 (you can switch with the knob (CH1, CH2, Master, MIC)
DJSunriZe 2 years ago
Again thanks...i use my ear mostly anyway
and i,ve never really encountered a mixer that does accurately and swiftly read beats...they can put a man on the moon though. ;)
The Reloop RMP-2s bpm indic. is floaty but having said that, its pretty tight at locking in a beat...contradictory as that statement reads, lol.
I just want gear thats reliable.
I,ll look into this mixer for sure.
As it grooves..;)

ive bought iq2+ today. how to use TAP BPM... should i tap 10 times before it will work? double tap is not enough.
second thing... can u tell me what for are "FADERSTART A", and "FADERSTART B" switches? (near crossfader curve switch).
