Where exactly is this song from? I love it but I'm having trouble finding it. I looked up the iTunes copy of In Shining Violence, but didn't find any songs matching this one.
Then again, it seems the iTunes copy was slightly different... :\
@predigestedArt I think it depends on how they know them. A rabid radiohead fan that has touched Thom York's dick will be inalterably changed by that one fateful moment. If you just know a band exists then it means little. If you have all their records in a variety of formats and have seen them play live over and over again and turned x number many people on or off of them then it begins to etch itself into your identity.
@predigestedArt highly agreed. there's nothing more decieving than believing, people with the same taste in music will harmonize with you better. what's the point there? to find as many people as possible who listen to the same, talk about the same, dress the same, work the same, think the same, feel the same as you do..?
Its called financial backing. The music industry has been highjacked and used as a tool. To dumb people down, make them think and believe certain things, lead people in certain directions. The masses are and have been manipulated for a long time. Music is great medium for this. Peace
@Unityisthekeyfolks but the real problam is that the manipulation you're talking about isn't happening very consciously. the values have turned the way they are and everything has to be marketed nowdays and the people who run these companies are greedy bastards, so the best way is to avoid this shit and built an own commnity. the world can't be saved. people are infinetly stupid.
@ambrose13br I'm sure they're happy NOT to be "mainstream"....it's actually an attractive quality not to be a commodity...at least I'm happy that most of the music I appreciate isn't "mainstream".
@ambrose13br I feel your pain, but here's how I look at it. If 30 billion people liked this type of music the way we do, it wouldn't be as compelling and amazing as it is now. It's more special this way. I like it somewhat unknown. That's me.
@ambrose13br The people who are brainwashed listen to shitty music, eat McDonalds, and do other stupid mindless things. Feel proud of who you are and your actual taste in entertainment. Those who don't are missing out and they are happier missing out--fuck em! lol
@ambrose13br lol your stupid,it's not about what you think is good music or not,it's about understanding and respecting why people like certain types of music that you may not, duh.
@ambrose13br Ricky Gervais said about The Office he'd rather reach the 'right' 1 million than the 'wrong' 10 million. The world is full of idiots, wouldn't you rather be in the elite club? I'm happier that stuff like this doesn't go mainstream so teenage girls can scream about it.

i love finding little gems like this, knowing bands like this really defines you as a person.

@lordrunsie and what kind of person is that?

@lordrunsie the bands a person knows or doesn't know has absolutely nothing to do with defining them as a person, good band or not.
