  • Great tune by the havana band took long time to find this 78rpm record. For fun hear Max Millers version.Mike

  • How do I get this as an instrumental? I can only find it on Itunes with singing.

  • Nice one Mr Fost. I found this whilst looking for "Felix keeps on walking". It was my lucky day. Thanks again.

  • We went on a family holiday, down to Devon, 1989 - a glorious week of fine summer weather and the beauty of that part of our country. I had this on tape and was OBSESSED with it, listening through headphones!.

  • In German this song is called"Ich war nie mit Lilly allein", sung by Hubert von Meyerinck, accompanied by "Orchester der Haller-Revue"with bandleader Willi Lachner on Electrola:-))

    What a stunning dance-version!!!

  • That's really interesting, because I know alot of Germany melodies had their lyrics changed to English and were given new titles, such as the Geman song "Panama" became "When Day is Done" Do you know if this one was originally German?

  • The music was written by Everett Lynton which was a pseudonym for the British songwriter Lawrence Wright.

  • what a great version....the tops! thanks so much.

  • marvellous!
