For those unfamiliar with Santelli’s muni reference, Whitney has recently come under fire for having predicted eight months ago there would be widespread defaults by municipal bond issuers around the country this year. As Bloomberg reported in July, during the first six months of 2011, muni defaults are down 60 percent compared to the same period last year. Obviously aware of this, Santelli chose to pull that scab off in order to get back at the banking analyst.

If Jew grew at the same rate as the world, there would be not be 15 million from 9 million in 1940 but 26 million. But most of the world growth happened in Asia. The US population went from 132 million to 300 million, closer to the Jewish population growth, but still a lot higher. Really, going from 9 to 15 is a slow populations growth. It works up to be less then 1% growth.
