It's a standard series fat tele. Fat because of the humbucker. Discontinued after 2 years as I know. It was produced 2001-02 (or 02-03... )

No I didn´t . I bought it with its modified neck pick up already. It is supposed to be a vintage model squier reissue.

It's said that Rosewood gives a warmer sound, while maple will give more twang.

Rosewood is also heavier and stronger than maple.

I think when it comes down to it its mainly aesthetics... I like the look of the rosewood! Especially on a sunburst tele! Mine is identical colouring! Altho mine is a fender rather then a squire. Nice stuff man!

Very nice! I also put new pickups in mine (as well as other things :) Seymour Duncan mini-hummer. Just posted a video of it tonight. I'm real proud of the sound. Nothing like a mini!

Your PAF sounds freakin sweet. I've never had the chance to play a tele with a full-sized hummer. I gotta try one.... now see what you've done! lol

I used a small marshall amp switched to the clean channel & a zoom 3030 effect unit. Check the overdrive details below in the earlier comment. Actually I got this tone when I was trying to copy Peter Frampton Comes Alive both lead and rhythm tones. Thank you very much

many thanks. I programmed in the zoom 3030 unit using the slightest overdrive I could blending with the built in compressor,EQ ,chorus & reverb.glad you enjoy it.

Obrigado wplj.Yes eu sou brasileiro. Essa guitarra possui um PAF humbucker no braço e uma fender single coil na ponte. Aqui eu estou usando só o pickup do braço.
