Was UTSU subsidizing them before? And also, how many "employees" does UTSU have? And how much on average does each of the UTSU student executives receive per year?
Irrespective of the validity of the facts, they're still taking your money and giving you nothing in return- they haven't managed to drop fees and they've done nothing else to make your life better.
This is absurd. If you want to talk about salaries how about actually getting serious and talking about the 380K the President takes home, or the 730K salary of your Provost. Meanwhile, tuition fees are hiked every semester that I have been at the UofT since 2007, and grants and bursaries are being slashed left and right.
