Actually he can see the streets before that because you do 85% of fed so thats like 10 months a year(3years) 30 years, plus the drug program which takes of 1 year and he got 3 years time served and you have to look at the laws they change alot so as of now he has about 20 in front of him pending law changes maybe less.
I'm not sure if your familiar with the case but meech isn't eligible for any drug programs, he will do 100% of his time, and any law changes aren't grandfathered (if the law is changed in 2010 it will not apply to a case from 2004 for example). I just hate that this guy is actually viewed as someone others are aspiring to be or emulate! It's a sad sad time when our community considers meech a role-model! All the money and "balling" doesn't mean shit to him now! Inmate!

Meech was 37 when he got sentenced to 30 years in Prison, he won't be eligibile for Parole until he's 67 years old! There is absolutely no possibility of him seeing the streets again until he's 67! He can't be a Husband, Father, Grandfather or asset to his community behing bars! He will be a senior citizen with nothing when he's free! What part of that makes him a man? That's the lifestyle of a BITCH with NOTHING!

Actually he can see the streets before that because you do 85% of fed so thats like 10 months a year(3years) 30 years, plus the drug program which takes of 1 year and he got 3 years time served and you have to look at the laws they change alot so as of now he has about 20 in front of him pending law changes maybe less.

I'm not sure if your familiar with the case but meech isn't eligible for any drug programs, he will do 100% of his time, and any law changes aren't grandfathered (if the law is changed in 2010 it will not apply to a case from 2004 for example). I just hate that this guy is actually viewed as someone others are aspiring to be or emulate! It's a sad sad time when our community considers meech a role-model! All the money and "balling" doesn't mean shit to him now! Inmate!

I'm sure his children (that he can't raise behind bars), his wife (whom he can't support behind bars)) and the rest of his family agree with you! The sad thing about it is, if you speak to Meech today and ask him was it all worth it, he would come out of his 8x10 cell and tell you HELL NO!!! He was 37 at the time of his incarceration and he will NEVER TOUCH A WOMAN AGAIN! He can't go to his son's little leage football games! He can't hold his wife on their anniversary! You're the idiot!

I have nothing against Meech personally, he lived a lifestyle where the end result is Prison or Death, it's not a lifestyle I nor anyone else should aspire to duplicate or emulate, there are more black men in prison than on college campuses, if you don't see a problem with that then go ahead my brother!

Yea i'm familiar with the case, Even though he has alot of time left he will not do 100% of his time, at most 20 more years. He is eligible for the drug program because he was brought up on drug charges .I would'nt judge him because believe it or not you have people in all types of position's that do a lot worse than meech and never give back, but he did.Example George Bush cost thousands of people their life an for what reason?Slums are everywhere and in every position believe it or not!!!

I'm going to advise you to go back and read the entire sentencing! Meech is no Hero or anything I'd want my children to aspire to be! Meech will do 100% and die in prison! He didn't even have enough cash left to fully pay his attorney's all assest were frozen his cash turned over to the government and again, READ THE JUDGE's ENTIRE SENTENCE and you will see that when Meech is 57 (20 years from the sentence) he will still be in Prison!
