this is a british candy/chocolate bar. its a normal chocolate bar but for a joke they made a funny version for a couple of months. it must of been popular because they continued with it for a long time. theres a pink version of this for ladies actually.

haha, yeah, I did this one a few weeks back with my buddy Roby... We had a similar reaction to the "not for girls" thing, lol. I gave it a thumbs up for the chocolate, but as for the bar itself, I was pretty disappointed it was just a big hunk of chocolate ;)

It's not for girls, because girls can't handle the taste man-like taste, unlike men. It's very stereotypical toward girls, but they can eat it. Anyway, it does taste pretty ordinary.

American people do not get British Humor at all. The 'It's not for girls' slogan has been used for the past 6-7 years. They released a special limited edition Yorkie in a pink wrapper and it had the slogan 'It's not for boys' printed on the side. The picture was changed to a male with a cross through.

Ok, you want the Yorkie history? In the 60s or 70s Yorkie was introduced and was the first British chocolate aimed at the male market. The old ads used to show truckers eating them. Was deemed sexist. But chocolate ads are usually still focused at women. Anyway it's postmodern. Ironic. Chocolate can be topical. Ooh, have you eaten a Topic bar?

Can you please give a smell test before the taste test?

Flakes and whispers have a fantastically sweet smell in particular. Hershey's has that weak but bitter smell.

Also, do you refrigerate the chocolate before eating or eat at room temps? I always enjoy chocolate more when chilled.

Depends on the chocolate, but usually I'll stick with room temp.

It's essentially a chewy sticky treat with fruit flavorings.

It's quite good if you get the right brand.
