  • I was left behind like the girl in this song... I lost my husband to drugs and alcohol. He is still believing that I am the waiting wife, but I have grown up and moved on with our children. I can make it on my own, and I am at peace with myself now...

  • i luv this song and when i sing it i sound alot like her its tottaly creepy

  • OMGGG WAS SHE WEARING "AO DAI" - VIETNAMESE TRADITIONAL CLOTHES? <3<3<3

  • She's stunnng! :)

  • I love you Loretta from your Hi-Klass Hillbilly Fan ;)

  • On the studio version peddle steel master Mr. Hal Rugg wore out a set of strings. She never had a #1 of any song unless Mr. Rugg played on it, nuff said.

  • shes so great the best

  • (:

  • Well !!! Girls...!

    We love you...!

  • I love this song by Loretta. She is an awesome singer - her style is pure country and that's what great country music is all about. I am a Kentucky girl, too, and the lyrics here are very meaningful. We have a beautiful Kentucky moon and when it shines on our bluegrass it's brighter it seems than any where else. Thank you for posting this winner. - Paula

  • loretta sure was beautiful

  • @jaimev21 She sure was...and she's STILL perty! :)

  • @jaimev21 She is still beautiful----just a little older is all.

  • She looks just like this one girl who broke my heart.

  • Its a 6,500 acre ranch....

  • BEAUTIFULL SONG

  • Thank you. I enjoyed listening to the song and watching the video of L.L.

  • I never knew my mom was singing her song all these years!

  • If I'm not mistaken Loretta wrote this one too.

  • Whoops- I was mistaken, great song by johnny mullins

  • I first heard this song from Emm harris !!! But Loretta is also amazing !!

  • Loretta Lynn has always been nothing less than AMAZING!!! This is a great one, Thank you!

  • Nobody sings this song as good as Loretta. She is PURE COUNTRY. She could'nt hide that Kentucky accent if she wanted too {and she does'nt}. They don't make'em like her anymore, sad to say.

  • @papawx3 Agreed. This is way better than Emmylou Harris' cover version.

Emmylou is talented, no doubt, but her high soprano voice just doesn't suit this kind of song, but Loretta's more Southern twang certainly does.

  • Thank you for sharing this video with us. It's a great song by Loretta and a fantastic video. Very good quality.
