They have to use a step ladder to put things in the bed. Or use a forklift. In my opinion, these trucks look stupid. If you want a monster truck, build one. But don't drive these dangerous and mostly illegal trucks on the road. I guess it's a good thing cops don't enforce the bumper height laws.

Still the most unreal truck I've had the pleasure of driving. Gotta love the Super Duty.

@rocker4u123 how does it put alot of stress on your suspension? going off road stresses the suspension regardless, stock or modded, and trucks like this never see any real action anyways (well, not usually, just worth too much to go F it up in the woods, it might hit the dunes or something and thats it)
it makes it more top heavy and easier to roll for sure, but it doesnt put more stress on the suspension. most aftermarket suspension is beefier than factory stuff anyways.
@maddmatt02 Its higher up and increasing the load on the shocks and struts when turning hard. Lift kits are useless unless you use them for offroading, and still huge ones are still useless. I've seen s-10's go through 3 feet mud up before that were completely stock. Lift kits are for people who aren't comfortable in a normal truck.
@rocker4u123 actually lift kits are to run a larger tire, and a larger tire is to clear larger obstacles and get more ground clearance under the axle... and the shock is not what suspends the vehicle at all, just controls the motion, leafs/springs/torsion bars suspend the truck, if its a straight axle, there are linkages controlling the movement. you really think that the truck calmly rocking to one side in a turn is harder on the shock than a stock truck hitting a nasty pothole on the street???
@rocker4u123 oh, and well, no stock S-10 is going through 3 feet of mud unless theres someone winching him across from the other side, and that doesnt count... the front bumper/grille would almost be submerged and youd be trying to plow the mud, plus stock 4WD S-10's arent even really 4WD, throw em in the mud and watch one front and one rear spin like mad while the other 2 just sit there.
@maddmatt02 HAHA! Well define mud? with most "mud" your average truck can't go through anyway. I've seen them go through mud where other trucks (dodges) didn't make it through that were bigger. If you havn't driven one you can't speak. My 2wd made it through 100 yards of solid 18 inchs of slick ice and snow the other day, most trucks would have just spun in 2wd. @rocker4u123 well, I dont know what 2WD you have, is it a S10 or something else. and 18" of snow is SO much different than 3 feet of mud, snow will pack under the tire and usually conforms to the tread pattern and you can actually get some grip, mud just turns to worse mud under a tire unless you have dug down to solid stuff

@maddmatt02 well it depends on the snow but for a little truck it's nice, and usefull in the midwest. i've been through about 18 inch's of very sloppy mud in 4x4 blazer with no problems. Seriously, the blazer and jimmy's have amazing offroad capabilities. So do some jap vehicles lol such as the samurai and toyota van 4x4's. i've been through gravel pits where most 4x4 trucks get stuck w/o any trouble in a 4x4 toyota van. You gotta find a balance b/t heavy and light.

it makes it more top heavy and easier to roll for sure, but it doesnt put more stress on the suspension. most aftermarket suspension is beefier than factory stuff anyways.

@maddmatt02 Its higher up and increasing the load on the shocks and struts when turning hard. Lift kits are useless unless you use them for offroading, and still huge ones are still useless. I've seen s-10's go through 3 feet mud up before that were completely stock. Lift kits are for people who aren't comfortable in a normal truck.

@rocker4u123 actually lift kits are to run a larger tire, and a larger tire is to clear larger obstacles and get more ground clearance under the axle... and the shock is not what suspends the vehicle at all, just controls the motion, leafs/springs/torsion bars suspend the truck, if its a straight axle, there are linkages controlling the movement. you really think that the truck calmly rocking to one side in a turn is harder on the shock than a stock truck hitting a nasty pothole on the street???

@rocker4u123 oh, and well, no stock S-10 is going through 3 feet of mud unless theres someone winching him across from the other side, and that doesnt count... the front bumper/grille would almost be submerged and youd be trying to plow the mud, plus stock 4WD S-10's arent even really 4WD, throw em in the mud and watch one front and one rear spin like mad while the other 2 just sit there.

@maddmatt02 HAHA! Well define mud? with most "mud" your average truck can't go through anyway. I've seen them go through mud where other trucks (dodges) didn't make it through that were bigger. If you havn't driven one you can't speak. My 2wd made it through 100 yards of solid 18 inchs of slick ice and snow the other day, most trucks would have just spun in 2wd. Anyway, i didn't insult ford here, i said i don't like huge lifts and stacks. Ford makes good trucks. better than dodge anyway

@rocker4u123 well, I dont know what 2WD you have, is it a S10 or something else. and 18" of snow is SO much different than 3 feet of mud, snow will pack under the tire and usually conforms to the tread pattern and you can actually get some grip, mud just turns to worse mud under a tire unless you have dug down to solid stuff
". and the "mud" I thought we were talking about was the kind that can get 3 feet deep, has to be pretty nasty before you can end up with a 3 foot deep pit of it.

@maddmatt02 well it depends on the snow but for a little truck it's nice, and usefull in the midwest. i've been through about 18 inch's of very sloppy mud in 4x4 blazer with no problems. Seriously, the blazer and jimmy's have amazing offroad capabilities. So do some jap vehicles lol such as the samurai and toyota van 4x4's. i've been through gravel pits where most 4x4 trucks get stuck w/o any trouble in a 4x4 toyota van. You gotta find a balance b/t heavy and light.

@bchaperz .......the difference is the frame of the truck, what it can tow, and of course the gearing .....but anyone can modify a truck, to do what you want.....Ford now has a street legal F-550, with out having a comerical licence too drive.
