  • I hope i can have this much fun on my wr125r when i get it, you have some nice riding and driving videos, wish i still had my silvia s14a now :)

  • is this wr250r stock?

  • On which gear do you stay during such high climbs ?

  • Wow dude, sick place to ride! Your pretty good too. That wall climb was sickk!!

  • This could be an Advertisement for Yamaha... Good Riding

  • Are Yamaha on a plan for a WR450R? Are the 250 suitabel for trial like riding (smooth power from the bottom as possibel for a 4 stroke 250).

    Nice Video!

  • okayokayokay, 1:00, like seriously, i want to be able to do that!

  • wicked video mate what exhaust is that sounds fu*king awsome

  • Are you on a bike team? You should b, your really good. Keep up the good work!

  • that bike's a beast man! 1:13 shows how strong the motor is...

  • awesome bike.............

  • You look like you are having such a great time here bro, you are a pretty ace rider, you should be quite happy with yourself getting up that monsterous hill in the video, I know i would :)

    Nice video man :)

  • Good vid dude.

  • best 250=wr250r

    best 400=drz400s

  • I can't decide on whether to buy this or the ktm 450 exc. I like both for their capabilities and that they can ride on trials. the pros for the wr are fuel injection, 73mpg and it's durable lightweight and I could find one for around 5,500-6,000. however I read that the ktm uses the same race engine from their ktm race bikes and that it's race worthy give or take suspension mods. the down side is that it's around 10,000 for it out the the door. I'm a legal driver for the street but offroad 2

  • @SORA2028 KTM is realy nice bike. They got power, good suspensions good handling. Its good bike to ride hard as in competition. WR250R is not fast and doesn't have good suspension like racing bike. WR250R is not competition bike. So I think it depends on what situation you would ride most. I have heard many major failure on KTM bikes but if you think you can afford to fix them, I recomend to chose ktm. If you want relief and not too much worry about long distance ride, maybe WR250R. Good luck!

  • @SORA2028

WR250R is a true motorbike ! EXC 450 is just a racing toy ! Two different kinds of bikes! If you want to ride everywhere (road, offroad) , everyday - buy WR250R. If you need a bike for hardcore fun (jumping etc.) and ONLY for fun (and after fun put bike on the trailer and drive by car to the service) - buy EXC 450.

  • @SORA2028 Yammy WR250R

  • we waiting for: fun ride 3! =)

  • we are waiting for: fun ride 3! =)

  • @SORA2028 buy yamaha wr450f or wr250f ;)

  • @SORA2028 i totally agree with bubba3ld,KTM is expensive but it has and expensive parts, while wr not.

  • @SORA2028 after power mods the wr250r only gets 45mpg but is very versatile and you cant beat that 26k mile valve check

  • cant wait to get mine!! awesome ride man, that hill clime that crazy

  • @meislj Thanks! Hope you enjoy with yours!

  • That looks like a lot of fun indeed :D

It seems to be very powerfull (for a 250) ;)

What's the topspeed on the road?

Or won't you advise to drive it on the road?

  • @o0L4nc3r0o Im not sure but probably it goes up to 120km/ph(75m/ph). Its ok to cruise around the town but not good for long distance with my setups.

    Thanks for watching

  • @o0L4nc3r0o stock 250x goes 165km/h...

  • @o0L4nc3r0o it will do 150km/h. I have done one 2000km trip on freeways on mine. Your rear end gets sore, but it's a very capable onroad bike.

  • that bike doesn't look like it weighs 298lbs. my 250x is only 253 and they look very similar in size

  • What gear did you go up that hill in?

  • @spakls103 The last hill? 2nd

  • Good riding, awesome, awesome bike. The thing is, this bike can do this and go 6000km between oil changes, 40,000km between valve clearance checks. I've ridden mine on 2000km trips which include freeway stretches of hundreds of km at 110km/h... getting 3l/100km (70mpg). It's just a beautiful motor and design, it's more than an enduro

  • Never pay for Yamaha Motorbike Manuals. Download them here - ** yamaharepairmanual (dot) org **

  • What is your gearing ? Thank you .

  • @mardesale 12T on front and 46T on the back

  • What have they exhaust for a motorcycle on that?

  • @krimigraz2007 I have YZ250F muffler on my WR250R

  • extremely impressive riding, im just about to get one of these beasts myself. what would you say a decent price would be? great vid

  • Thanks for the nice comment. I hope you 'll have great fun with WRR!

The price? I don't know how much it sales for in your country but Im sure this bike is not cheap compare to other dual purpose bike. But I think it worth it! :)

  • Was this video taken after you had done all the mods or no? Also great bike!

  • Thanks! All my WR vids are taken after mods are done.

  • Oh okay, well great riding man! Be safe out there.

  • thanks for the reply an thats good to know thanks

  • is this bike standard, if it is could u tel me the top speed as standard please thanks, would be a great help.

  • The top speed as standard shuld go up to around 90mph. maybe little more, it depends on winds too. I set the lower gearing so my WRR much slower than standard on top speed.

  • okay, so is this a dual sport??

i saw an 01 in stores, and it looked strright dirtbike, but i got a kawasaki dual, so i dont wanna nouther, help me out lol

  • yes this is a dual sport bike.

It may be look like a racing bike but thats you don't compair with. It runs great for dual purpose but not good as racing bike.

  • You are a good rider! I've ridden my friend's 250r a few times. It's pretty sweet. Fun bike!

  • i like this vid ^^

    best part at 0:59

  • awesome riding mate, thinking of hiring one for a big weekend away soon. i got a bike but want something with a bit more balls lol

  • Thanks for the comment! Free your mind!! lol

  • I got one a few months ago ... a true blast to ride .. love the video!

  • Thanks for the comment! Yeah its so much fun to ride. Are you from Texas? cause one of my vid was taken in Texas.

  • yes, I am in san antonio ... where were you riding?

  • Where was this shot? Any mods on the bike or stock?

  • This was shot in Japan about 3hrs away from Tokyo. Its not stock. Check my Vid "WR250R modification"

  • your having to much fun bubba ! nice riding

  • Thanks! Can't wait for next ride!

  • first thing i notice with this bike is the noise it makes as opposed to the WR205f, 1:04 was effortless or the bike made it seem so any way, what do they retail for? NICE TRACK!

  • Is that the stock exhaust?

  • stock exhaust out of YZ250F. Not a WR25R exhaust.

  • Have you ever ridden a yamaha yz250f

if you have how do they compare perfomance wise

  • Yes I have ridden a YZ250F. I think YZ250F is much better for everything on riding at offroad. Much lighter, much powerfull, but the reason I chose this bike was for much more durability than YZF. and also I don't have to worry about jetting at any where.

  • I would have one under me right now but was turned down for financing today =(

So time to go to my bank with my measly 10% down and BEG or get my knees dirty of necessary.

    Cool vid!

  • Thanks for the comment.

    Hope you get yours soon!

Harder to get will make you feel special don't you think?

  • Planning to make another video of your riding, soon?

  • Yes! Next one is coming soon! Depends on weather.

  • I have had my Wr 250 R 2 weeks did know you could do all that. I love my bike. But I like the way your is runing better what is stock on the gearing? Not sure what you mean by this_intake and exhost, plus FMF EFI Power Programmer, could you expain?

  • I cant't explain good enough, but this might give you some idea by watching my other video. Check the Video responses.

  • What's your top speed with this sprocket setup? I'm considering the same gearing but don't want to sacrifice too much top end.

  • Im not sure but probably it goes up to 120km/ph(75m/ph).I usualy change the front sporcket for depends where I ride.

  • Oh btw this WR looks like it goes really hard....What year is it? Is it the WR250F? (im from aus)

You have only changed over the sprockets and it goes that hard?! Thinkin about getting one, i currently ride a YZ250F 2005 model

  • This is 2008 WR250R.

you have to take off the bunch of stuff out to make it run properly. YZ250F is a racer model, WR250R is for the street and trail riding YZ250F would give you much more performance on dirt riding I think. But ,WR250R has more Durability

  • Nice vid mate your a good rider

  • Nice.

  • What are you running for a can, and did you do any airbox mods? You're running a 49 on the back?

  • I was just messing around the field. I took top of the airbox lid off. 12T on front and 46T on the back.

  • this was the video i needed to see to convince me to buy a WR250R. thanks.

  • Tthanks for watching and I hope you will have fun when you get to ride on it.

  • whats mods have you done btw?

  • Havent touched anything on motor, intake and exhost, plus FMF EFI Power Programmer. ofcorse gears are lowered down for offroad riding. 1 down on front and 3 up on rear sprocket.

  • cheers i will consider that as Im not sure if I should swap my yzf for a wr

  • Its all up to you! both are nice
