These are not ordinary people jumping to conclusions over "every little thing in the sky," these are military personel working at very, very sensitive military bases who state that they saw something very unusual. NOW, either these guys, who were manning nuclear missile bases suffered from delusions, or they saw something that rattled them. I don't buy the first conclusion.

Occam's razor is the biggest mistake the scientific community has ever accepted as truth.

In fact, as scientists they should know that the simplest explanation is the least likely to be true. Just look at how research in all scientific fields have shown that everything is much much more complex than first thought.

Occams razor in science isn't about truth its about usefulness, as an example life on this planet may have started through pranspermia or abiogenesis. We stick with abiogenesis because pranspermia makes too many assumptions and adds variables that cant be verified and all the evidence fits abiogenesis just fine.

In the same way rationality uses parsimony because a more complex explanation simply generates unanswerable factors and variables instead of creating a usable theory.

A usable theory is no substitute for a correct one, and if we were to accept Occams razor as a valid tool in science, every answer to your science tests would simply be "God did it".

All information we receive is through our senses correct? And our senses can be fooled and not everything we can sense means its there. Therefore nothing can be known with absolute certainty. But we can approach discerning objective truth through a method that relies on more then just our senses.

In order to do that it requires information and we build upon it through making predictions and validating or falsifying them. Thats where usefulness comes in, there is no room for assumtions or conjecture and so the simplest explanation is the most useful and things become known as true when they are validated.

And your strawman distorts the fact that even falsified theories can still true, I suppose Newtonian physics simply became false because Einstein created general relativity. Actually, it sort of did. Mercury's deviation for instance. We still use Newton because it provides accurate enough results to be used.
