  • lol 1 position in a shitty state. I think you are in more need of a hug than applause. If winning the governor spot in New Jersey is the turning of the tides for you then you're most likely petty and cynical.

  • lol yes I did and it looks like the republicans are starting to split into two parties. BIG FUTURE AHEAD FOR TEABAGGERS - ROFL!!!

  • lol good luck with that one buddy. now that we aren't in the stone age anymore the republicans will be lucky to stay a party.

  • Your country is spending 20% of its GDP for the military. Get rid of it and spend the money on health care and you would have the 2nd best health care system on the planet. Youre rather producing guns and WDMs instead of something useful. Youre wasting billions in useless wars and still there is some people complaining and being against their own interest. This is truly an anti-intellectual country.

  • After all the years of ridiculous "liberal" protesters, it is sad to see that we fiscal conservatives did not even gain a lesson from it.

Because I was so annoyed with obnoxious protesters during the Bush II years, I was much less willing to be critical of Bush policies, and am only now realizing that Bush did a lot of things I do not agree with, although at the time I was a staunch supporter.

If you think your words will only stick if they are shouted, you should rethink what you are saying.

  • How low is that to interupt a prayer. These people are the biggest bigots/idiots

  • wow... They're to many trial lawyers to take on for the gov't??!?!?!? That means that #1) The American Gov't is showing weakness and fear of Trail Lawyers, or #2) They are IN with the Trial Lawyers and possibly even owned by them.... This is pathetic, and saddening to the utmost degree... I just can't believe this... I voted for Obama and I am regretting it more and more and MORE! I voted for great change that would benefit the people, everything out of there mouths is slowly bordering insanity!

  • Sigh ... 1. You are not obligated to join the govt. option. 2. If you have a plan you like, you may keep it. 3. Don't worry. If the govt. plan is shown to be incompetent, inefficient, or overly restrictive, it will not be chosen over private plans. There are also restrictions (income, etc.) as to who is elegible for the govt. option. But the bottom line is that we have to get our 50 million w/o insurance covered. A govt. option is important for that.

  • BTW, I think our health care needs reform... but it needs to be well thought out - not rushed through Congress which was the original plan... that was criminal.. no one read teh dang bill!!! Come on!

  • Needing2Know...I agree. However, I don't think our health care needs a complete overhaul. The fact that Canadians are coming to the US for treatment tells you our system is still superior.

Let's keep what works and change what doesn't. Throwing the baby out with the bath water makes no sense. Might as well keep things as they are.

And don't believe Obama when he says you can keep your private insurance. What he isn't telling us is that, once you leave your private insurance, you can't go back.

  • Nearly all of these "re-run" politicians need to go. It's our fault they lost touch with the people. Now more than ever, we need to keep them accountable. I also think education needs some serious reform. My parents who are now in their 60s didn't need computers to learn. They learned the foundations for a lifetime of learning. The cost of education is the elephant in the room... work on that next and keep our liberties dammit!

  • It wasn't "chaotic" and I'm tired of "journalists" characterizing it that way. Randall Terry, domestic terrorist, managed to shout over everyone and disrupt the meeting for no more than 10 minutes, but other than that, we had an orderly, if spirited, meeting that imparted a lot of information and raised some good questions. Watch the whole thing on C-Span for some context.

  • uncleleerules says but you obviously are not basing your argument on any facts....................that sounds like B.O.s motto

  • Jim Moron

  • they bring Union people with busses and corporate signs in.

    Outnumbering the locals.

Staged like the whole BS Campaign.

Bank owned president Barry Soetoro with his telepropmter and all the MSM kissing his ***

Still the approval ratings are tanking LOL!

  • SourceCode2006 says We won - you lost!+++++++Aug. 25 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. unemployment will surge to 10 percent this year and the budget deficit will be $1.5 trillion next year, both higher than previous Obama administration forecasts because of a recession that was deeper and longer than expected, White House budget chief Peter Orszag said.......Congratulations on your win, I'm sure the troops over there will be happy for you. comment left by neither a democrap or republican't

  • Yah and in february the DOW was supposed to be about 4000 points right about now because of Obama. You dumb bastards saw that train leave the station and haven't mentioned it once since then. The economy is coming back now that we don't have republicans running the country into the ground anymore.

  • note how McCain handles protesters, vs how David Scott, Sheila Jackson Lee, and Howard Dean do.

does he honestly turn to a crowd of people and ask them to "raise your hands if you want healthcare reform!" ?

wow, way to connect with the people.

  • NW1968Alumni - some states have already taken on frivolous lawsuits, which require a plantiff to appear before a panel to decide if the case has merit before it is allowed to proceed. CA and TX have med-malpractice caps and they havent worked. If there was a universal care program med-mal rewards would drop signifcantly -- as most the reward goes to pay for on going care of the injured patient (i.e. an infant damaged by a negligent ObGYN).

  • This is unbelievable. I thought Democrats were for protesters. I was a liberal in college; then I started paying taxes.

  • lol seems about right.

  • I payed $43,000 in taxes last year and I'm as liberal as they get. I bet most of the republicans posting on youtube don't even make $43,000 in a year.

  • Typical liberal arrogance. I have no reason to believe you paid any taxes at all last year.

Annoy a liberal: work hard and be happy.

  • No wonder people on here are calling you stupid. Who cares how much you make. Real "scientific" study, one liberal makes money, assumes it's because he's liberal. Bravo, genius.

  • oh shut the fuck up you ignorant moron, your political leanings have nothing to do with what your annual income is. fuckin retard

  • I hope we can get the socialist racist bastard out of the White House asap. I can't stand him...

    NOBAMA!

  • Well for every 1 of you that don't like him there are 4 of us that do.

Or did you miss the last election? In fact you'll probably never see another republican president in your life time - so get used to it :).

    We won - you lost!

  • Obama won 52-48%, not quite the 4 to 1 ratio you hear about at your SEIU meetings. Obama's running the opposite in most normal, non SEIU areas.

  • He won in the states that mattered. So how was the electoral vote turnout there buddy?

It could have been 50% - 50% but if you're 50% is in the southern states with no voice then it might as well be 4:1. Which it is.

  • We Are Going to Beat the Republicans in the next election and we are going to have health care Reform starting with a public option the going on to universal health care YEAH!!

  • stop screaming

nothing but a bunch of sore losers!

  • Howard Dean is a joke!!!!1

  • The "Jewish prayer" was no prayer. It was a political statement.

  • That is my Rabbi and you don't understand how entirely appropriate his benediction was for this event. G-D commands us to give healing to the sick.

  • uncleleerules... Of all the places where the rabbi could have said that prayer, a town hall forum was probably the most inappropriate place to say it.

If God commands us to heal the sick, then how would socialized healthcare be in line his will? In Canada, many patients wait 4 weeks to see a specialist and 4 hours for the emergency room. That's not what I call healing... that's dying a slow painful death.

  • It is in the US that people are uninsured or underinsured and will never get to see a specialist or they wait for 24 hours in an emergency room. Your fears about Canada are ironic at best. People in the US DIE waiting to be seen in an emergency room. We have the lower life expectancy. There are legitimate cost and policy problems, but you obviously are not basing your argument on any facts.

  • uncleleerules... Here are the facts.

US News & WR cited these 2008 statistics from The Fraser Institute in Canada:

Median clinical reasonable wait time vs. Canadian wait time (in weeks)

    Neurosurgery: 5.8 vs. 31.7

    Gynecology: 5.6 vs. 16.1

    Internal medicine: 3.3 vs. 12.5

    General surgery: 4.7 vs. 11.3

    Ophthalmology: 8.7 vs. 22.5

    Orthopedic surgery: 11 vs. 36.7

    Cheers!

  • We have a lower life expectancy because of our lifestyles. We are the fattest nation in the world. Heart disease (due to obesity) is one of the largest killers. perhaps you should look at facts yourself.

  • No one is denied care in the emergency room and most who do not have insurance have only themselves to blame for the choices that have led them to that position in their life. Life is not free and the govt can only GIVE what it TAKES FROM SOMEONE ELSE...people take control of your own destiny. Do not let the govt decide it.

  • Myth No. 11 - Democrats are credible.

  • Which unions showed up to try to bully and stifle opposition?

I know that SEIU put out word for people to be there but surely there were others.

  • Dean says no tort reform cause we didn't want to take on trial lawyers, but of course we don't mind fucking the shit out of the common man.

  • Absolutely, and they don't want to take on the slimy lawyers because the Democratic party is in the pocket of the trial lawyers, ABA!

  • "I can't hear dean and I'm sitting next to him" LUCKY YOU
